Amazing food as always. Staff were a bit slow to take our first order. Once we ordered fthe food did start to come quickly. We were there for the first sitting and all tables were full.

Food was amazing, my only complaint is some of the staff need some training. We ordered rare beef and the waitress brought 3 plates to our table and they were stacked one on top of the other, this is not an acceptable way to deliver food to a table, this is not hygienic and not okay in any situation.

The food was amazing, however our waitress was not very friendly and had an attitude that she didn’t want to be there. We also had a pregnant diner with us, she ordered a mocktail in which they actually put vodka in it. When we bought this up and stated we shouldnt have to pay for the shot of vodka, the man just started laughing and wasn’t going to take the charge off. This was pretty bad customer service. He did eventually take the charge of but wasn’t happy about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Had all you can eat Japanese banquet for two adults. Wonderful meal carefully prepared. Loved the edamame beans, traditional miso soup and great sushi hand rolls.

Great service. Promptly seated and seen to. Once we ordered our first round and finished it was about 20 minutes before we were seen after finishing. Some things came out barely warm. One dish was cold but everything else was hot and fresh. We love this restaurant and we will still come back. No fault of the staff just very very busy. Overall still happy and felt like we did eat our moneys worth.

The restaurant appeared to be understaffed and full of customers...no one came to take our order and when we asked for this we were made to feel like difficult customers. It is all you can eat so you do need to be able to keep ordering as you go. Food was delicious but it did not feel like a special evening at all, won't be back.

5th time dining there and by far the best night

First time dining the food was fantastic will be telling friends that it's great value for money.

Amazing! We had a fairly large table and ordered up a storm, the meals were fantastic. Fast and the staff were brilliant even stopping to ask if we wanted them to take a group photo for us. They went well and above what I ever expected.

seemed a concern about food waste and so we were discouraged to order what we needed and service was slow. There was an apology at the end.

Quick and friendly service and the food was good especially the sashimi platter.

We attended at a very busy time on the holidays, although the restaurant was loud I never had to shout. A few plates were misplaced but the staff were very accommodating and food arrived promptly. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic food choices, family friendly and impressive price. Didn’t have to wait long and staff were friendly and attentive. Our new favourite place for family dining!

Great value and good fun, there is something for everyone

We visited there because we love salmon sushi. we ordered to start with sushi sashimi plate. But we didn’t get any salmon sushi or tuna sushi which was displayed on the picture of the menu. We were told because of two people table we couldn’t have a big amount. That was not excuse they didn’t give us any salmon sushi, however, people at the next table were having salmon and tuna sushi. We complained to the waiter that we didn’t get any salmon sushi, No sushi with raw fish, on our plate. Then, we ordered sushi plate by stressing that we would love to have salmon sushi, but, what we got was no salmon sushi again on the plate that has only 4 pieces that included 1 egg, 2 prawns and Inari. We refused to have that. That was horrible experience if you like sushi and expect that you will be getting similar to the photo on the menu.

Absolutely fantastic it was my first visit to an Okami Resturant and very impressed. All guests enjoyed everything. Thank you so much to all the staff at Ballarat Okami we reaĺly loved it.

Always love going here! Food is always delicious. However service was a little slow tonight, and they forgot a few of our orders.
