I booked for 1pm, not realising that the restaurant shuts at 2pm. (This information was not available through Quandoo.) At 1.30 we were asked if there were any specific items that we wanted as the kitchen was closing. My Japanese tea was finally served, after prompting by myself, approximately 10 mins before closing. Food was looking very tired by 1.15pm when we were seated and ready to eat. I would not recommend the lunch buffet at this restaurant.

Booked for lunch not realising it was buffet only. A number of dishes had very limited food available - chicken Karaage, beef and blackbean, and a couple of others. Quality was just ok - we have had take-away from here before and the quality was much better

We ordered twice and we didn’t get what we asked for both times. We also had to asked 3 separate times for extra sauce. The staff didn’t explain one person had to order for the entire table and twice we were given things we didn’t ask for. The food isn’t great either, the steak was dry and tough. Won’t be returning.

I accept that you are only pay $20 for the lunch option. However, plenty of dim sims and Gyoza and fried things. The beef and black bean was overcooked and limp as were the garlic vegetables! The chicken dish yes it had chicken in it is all I'll say. There was no love put into the making of the various items being offered. Won't go back. You get what you pay for.

At first the restaurant was way too hot and uncomfortable but after about an hour the air conditioning was obviously turned on which made it so much better. The food was beautifully displayed and there was plenty of it BUT the hot food was only warm. This is dangerous for food poisoning. The price was very reasonable. A few more choices for dessert would have been good.

Another delicious night at Okami. Can't wait to go back again.

The food was very tasty and you could tell it was fresh. A good variety. But some of it wasn't very hot in the bain Marie's. Food was restocked regularly, which was hotter. It was clean and tidy. The paper plates were awful though, made it feel very cheap.

All you can eat Japanese cuisine....where have you been all my life? The quality of the food is brilliant, arrives at the table in good time and the penalty for not leaving an empty plate is novel but effective. Serving sizes generous. Ambient setting, but I would not recommend it for the hearing impaired as it is quite noisy, and those with hearing aids would struggle for conversations to be heard. Helpful and delightful staff. Very reasonable prices for all you can eat. Coming back to do the lunch buffet.
