Okami - Fairfield

The service was excellent, with great quality food and timely service. The only negative was that as the restaurant is fairly small, the group of 22 people sitting together behind us created enough noise to be overbearing.

I attended with 3 other friends- who had never been- Service was friendly, arrival of food was timely, plentiful and delicious , cannot beat the value for money experience

Very slow service, very inconsistent with delivery of food, 1 item from you order will arrive then you can wait 10 minutes for the next, cant all eat together and items arrived get cold waiting for others, many items not delivered to table at all. Will never attend this venue again, not an enjoyable experience.

We had a large group there for a birthday dinner. We were served really quickly & the food was delicious. The wait staff are friendly & efficient. Nothing was a problem and they even had a candle to put on the birthday cake I bought in. We're repeat customers as we love the place. Thanks for a great night.

The All You Can Eat was good value and the food was great! Only problem was being rushed out by the staff as they wanted to clock off early

The young man who saw us in was very very efficient. He was also very helpful when we had a question about one of our main dishes. As were the young ladies that took our orders. Most friendly and very natural. While the food was generally average to good, the service made up for everything. The cocktail cooked prawns were not deveined and we had to take time cleaning them. The beef teriyaki was not truely well prepared. The sauces felt like out of a bottle. Awful. The other dishes were quite good. I will certainly be back.

While an all you can eat is very tempting the quality of the food served as far as flavour and quality of meat was very low, and extremely low for Japanese food.

Friendly, attentive and efficient service, nice atmosphere. Food was great; nice, very fresh gyoza and sashimi. Only complaint would be the tempura - the batter, although tasty and nicely textured, would have been great with, say, fish & chips, but it wasn't like proper, fine tempura batter, in my opinion. Anyway, we left happy, nourished and this is undoubtedly great value if you're yearning for Japanese food and are on a budget. And I love that this all-you-can-eat restaurant has surcharge for over-ordering/uneaten food. Breaks my heart to see staff clearing away platefuls of unnecessarily ordered delicious fresh food. Anyway, we'll be back, thank you! 😊

The booking was changed several times as family members dropped out due to COVID. This caused no problem.

It was ok, very loud and service was slow. The food wasn’t as good as the other restaurants we have been to
