Very different this visit. The quality of the food seems to have deteriorated and the new way of ordering will take some time to get used to.

Food was great as usual , only down side was everything is now done by QR code . My husband and I are not tech savvy . Luckily my daughter was there . Otherwise the food was great

The food came out cold and waiting far too long for our drinks. It was also hard to flag any of the waiters down when we needed them.

Not happy with the new order from phone arrangement. Takes longer to receive food, less staff so all the empty dishes remain on the table and take up space. Need waiter to order dessert but only 2 waiters for the whole restaurant. Not sure if an off day. Food still nice!

First time online ordering - wasted 30 minutes of dining time waiting for food. Online ordering was confusing.

Always a good experience, it was pretty loud in the restaurant but that's not their fault and we were seated very close to another table so I ended up moving the table over a bit. otherwise it was great.

Huge selection of bottomless sushi. Who can say no? Everything was great.

You need to order by the app however the app doesn't work very well We had meals missing then a whole amount not even come out so people waited and waited then when we said something they had no meals for us, we re ordered drinks on numerous times, then when waiting for food dor over 30 mins we decided just to order dessert instead which came then the food came 10 mins later Food was delicious however the app was crap and waiting for meals for sooo long wasn't good enough. Even the waitress came took our order that we didn't get a d even that never came

We are regular Okami clients in Frankston. The last couple of times we weren't happy with the service. We were asked to do the QR code order. We did it and it didn't work. after half an hour the waitress asks us why we didn't order. She tells us she can take the order, she forgets to bring drinks for one of my kids. The mogu mogu were served in a bottle, they normally serve them in a glass with ice. The food arrived very slowly and come was cold. The table were very close together and I had one kid screaming in my ears and kept walking past bumping my chair. The waitress comes back saying we should have used the QR code to avoid her forgetting to bring the drinnks. Not happy and we won't come back to Franskton Okami

Too many people stuffed into a tiny dining room. Way too loud, just felt like a feeding trough. Staff were too busy to give any kind of personal service.

The Staff was lovely but I am not okay with the online ordering. It's completely impersonal and incredibly frustrating. I feel if you get too busy you need to hire more staff not our dining experience.

Great all you can eat Japanese. The restaurant itself is a little run down but the food is great and very good value

As always, food was delicious and came out so quickly. New barcode thing worked well and you can order whenever you want. Just have to make sure you don’t go too crazy and order too much as they have a charge if you can’t finish all your food. If it’s in excess 200g then you’re charged but that makes sense. 100% going back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food but our order was lost so our food came out late and we got mains before starters? Staff were apologetic and other tables around us were demanding and loud and obnoxious. i think the neighbouring table got our meals, which they left copious amounts of waste food. We will be back as the meal was lovely, thank you delayed. Thank you our food was very nice

New ordering system is ridiculous, every order placed was somehow doubled which resulted is staff being so rude to us! Food was awful, noodles were soggy and overcooked.

Great experience. Loved the new way of ordering, so easy. The kids love the food

Food was delicious as usual. Not a fan of QR code ordering as it interferes with the social aspect of dinner - one person is constantly ordering for everybody. Also limited to 10 plates per order and for a group of 4 that slows down the eating process. Much prefer traditional customer service.

Fast service, food was hot and fresh. Staff were able to take orders of trouble using the new online ordering
