Lovely food and service is good but I have a suggestion. Please could staff refrain from cleaning tables when customers are waiting to catch their eye to order food? I understand they have to do this on the early sitting but not on the late one as no further customers are going to come in.

Wow my first time here for a mid week dinner and it was packed with diners for their 7.45pm seating but still a great casual fun energy in this place. The four of us took the ‘all you can eat’ option to sample the menu and share and this was sensational value, the variety available was impressive and dishes were all presented nicely and delivered to our table so quickly. Staff were sweet and polite. Is fully licenced but also BYO with $5 corkage. Highly recommend can’t wait to return!

My family had a grea time. Quick service and lovely food. It was child friendly with hardy plates, bowels and cups, so of any were dropped it was no problem. We definitely go again.

Booked on line which was so easy. Service was excellent and food quality very good. One chicken dish wasn’t as hot as it should be but overall the standard was very good. Very popular so the place is packed which makes it very noisy. We ate at the earlier session and you have plenty of time to eat so don’t rush, enjoy!

Always a great experience but as l have said in the past the noise volume. Don't know how they can fix but it would make it a far better experience.

Wonderful food. Restaurant is a little loud so can be difficult to have conversations. They will not split the bill which can be hard for large groups, there are only 3 meal prices plus drinks so not that hard to separate, and charge a 1.5% fee for credit card payment Positives are the service is very quick and food it’s fresh and very nice.

the miso soup were very bland, it taste like it's been watered down a lot. Same case with the green tea. the octopus ball were disappointing. there were barely any octopus in it. the bit of octopus in the ball were smaller than the size of a dice. Everything else was ok

As always a great evening was had. Food was delicious and came out very fast! Service was great as always. We love eating here.

It was good to make a booking because they can get quite full and may be turned away if they are fully booked. Wait staff are too rushed. Only 1 can take your order or re-orders. Staff are friendly but are not attentive to detail. Also to note, you will be charged for wastage. Wait staff only told us when we were getting the last order. Recommend for wait staff to advise patrons at the start.

We had the Sunday “all you can eat” dinner. Very good value for good food. Very friendly and polite staff. It does get busy after 5:30pm (full house), so if going with young kids, best to start at 5pm - service is very fast at that time.

Really inattentive service, lighting fit for interrogation and a cluttered and generally untidy looking restaurant. Definitely don’t recommend and won’t be back.

Good. Menu could be a bit more substantial, tables could be bigger for 3 people to fit 5 meals. And incredibly noisy. Hard to hear conversations at our own table. But it was something new and different and we had fun. Just won’t rush back.

It was Fathersday,so it was busy, but food was delicious.

Every other Okami is awesome. This one, waitress was abrupt and we barely saw her. Plates were literally plonked on their way past our table and they stacked the plates when taking out to the tables so food from one plate was all over the bottom of the next. When we ordered, we were told if we don’t eat it all we’ll be charged extra!! What?? So basically we didn’t order much or try anything new. The sitting ends at 7.30 but she told us our last order was at 6.50 then they just stopped serving and started clearing tables into large plastic tubs right beside you, so it wasn’t a nice ambience. We usually go to Hampton and will always go back there from now on. Sorry Frankston, it was a let down to be honest.

The food was amazing we felt pressured not to order too much as we’d have to pay for waste, which is ridiculous. They wouldn’t let us split bill it was all a bit hectic. Won’t return to Frankston! Hampton was such a better experience
