Okami - Geelong

Experiences had improved vastly since our last visit when it was first opened. All the foods ordered actually arrived, and within reasonable timeframe. The only downside is the fried udon was overcook / burnt.

Great food, Great service and its. great price as always.

Whilst the food is …. ok, the restaurant is soulless and the staff robotic. Despite the sign announcing “Nice to meet you” with a very smiley face not one order was taken …. or delivered with a smile ….. or any emotion/feeling/engagement ….. and that was on Valentine’s Day! The young lady mopping the floor was the exception - full of smiles and with sparkling eyes …. she should be made manager :)

The business is obviously thriving as evidenced by the crowds, but this makes for a far too noisy dining atmosphere; and it's really difficult to have a conversation.

Service was very prompt but food quality was rather poor. Sushi rice not cooked thoroughly and was hard. Beef teriyaki was burnt and cut into the tiniest pieces

Slow service , food was adverage and too over crowded and tables too small

Food was great quality but took ridiculously long to come out. Its not fair that it is an all you can eat restaurant for a limited seating time yet you constantly have to follow up where the food is to the point that we had to cancel alot of what was ordered because we were sick if waiting.

Love the food and the friendly service and the value for money of course it is my 3rd time and I will be back again

Food was beautiful, staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. This is our third visit since we discovered Okami Geelong in three months, we live in Colac. So it’s an hour drive to get there and it’s well worth it

nothing was explained to us when we arrived. We have not visited before so if it was explained that the meals were small and it was a kind of buffet set up that would have been useful. It was a bit confusing. The staff were very nice and the food was yummy and fresh though.

It's a noisy barn of a place but that's fine. I like the casual atmosphere, fresh, hot, tasty food. Great value for money.

First time we went I brought 10 members of my family. Tonight it was just my husband and I. We ordered the Teriyaki steak, sushi and rice and other dishes. The rice was a very small portion on a big plate, the steak never arrived and when we inquired about it, it came out very cold. It was such a disappointment, the sushi had a very strong taste of fish, now I understand that sushimi is fish, however the sushi was not fresh. Very disappointing.

The noisiest restaurant I have been in. Tables packed in so tight kept getting jabbed by the guy behind me. The food wasn’t very hot when it eventually came. Never received all the dishes ordered. The food quality of this Okami was so low compared to others I have been to.

The food was amazing, the service staff did their best though we were a crazy booking, it was great, no matter what we asked of them they fulfilled every order. I wish we had a little more time. I would recommend it and we are planning on going back.
