Great evening with family, good Japanese food, clean and fresh.

We ordered our first round before 8pm and didn't receive anything until almost 9. We ordered before most of the tables around us which were covered with food and when we did receive something it was one item at a time. We were asked if we wanted to order more 5 times while waiting and when we told them we were still waiting on our first order they just walked away. We rarely had more than a single dish on our table and most of the time there were 3 items for a table of 4 so some of us had to wait 20 mins between getting something. It seemed strange that everyone around us were getting food but our table was empty most of the night... I brought friends for their first visit and they were not impressed at all.

Food was excellent but definitely slow at coming out and definitely not enough of it for how many people we had at the table. Hopefully this is just the teething stage. Service a tad off the mark but as I mentioned. Teething stage. Will definitely return to enjoy more of the delicious fare.

Food and service was great, can’t speak highly enough, if you haven’t eaten here yet, definitely give it a try

I was very impressed , the food and service excellent.

The service was excellent, as was the food. It was fresh, perfect temperature and tasty. The portion sizes were perfect to all you to try new foods. Without waste. If you enjoyed something you could order it again and it was prepared fresh for you. I can highly recommend Okami in Sunbury.

The food and service was absolutely perfect. Will most definitely be back with mire friends and family. My only criticism is that one drink with food would be good.

Some waiters/servers were more friendly than others but the food as usual was amazing so easy to overlook that minor set back

Currently has no liquor licence so only soft drinks available however you can BYO if we told in advance. Needs more wait staff only had 4 on the floor for a Tuesday night, it’s not organised and needs to be the same wait staff looking after certain tables.

It took a while for us to be served initially but once we placed our first order, they came back regularly to check on us and see if we wanted more to eat. The food was great.

Overall foods are quite good quality except the grilled squid as it is too chewy and tough to consume. The desert options could be improved.

Absence of Liquor license should be made clear. If you can bring your own wine why not a beer?

Temperature was hot with no air movement. Staff were pleasant. Toilet facilities needed to be looked at - cleanliness. Tables were too close.

Great food. Service was a little slow but not annoyingly so, but given the restaurant is newly opened and it was very busy I feel this is acceptable.

The food was good and great value and the place itself was lovely. I think the staff need better training, as they seemed a bit vague in some requests. We weren’t told when we booked that the liquor licence wasn’t approved yet, even though we had been given a wine list when we arrived. So we had to go and buy wine and was charged corkage. Overall it was good and I will go back to try again.
