our crispy chicken skins were way over cooked. nobody enjoyed. Weve had them before and were disappointed this time round.
If you’re a fan of dim sum, PappaRich in Upper Mount Gravatt has got you sorted. Tuck into prawn, chicken or vegetarian dumplings while you peruse the rest of the menu – they’re of our favourite ways to start things off. The menu in this Garden City Malaysian restaurant is extensive to say the very least so you’ll be wanting to arrive hungry. Noodles are another favourite at PappaRich Brisbane and we love the classic curry seafood laksa of Hokkien noodles cooked in a spicy coconut broth with mussels, prawns, eggplant, tofu puffs and bean sprouts. This is one really is delightfully refreshing.
Some of the signature specialties on offer at PappaRich Garden City that we just love include the Pappa special nasi lemak with curry chicken and prawn sambal topped with a boiled egg; roti canai with curry chicken served with dal and sambal and the wat tan hor loaded with thick rice noodles, seafood, chicken and choy sum in a flavoursome egg gravy. With a whole host of roti, satay, vegetarian and rice dishes on offer, you’ll be in for a mighty fine time in this Malaysian restaurant south of the Brisbane River. Tucked away in Westfield Garden City in Upper Mount Gravatt on Logan Road, reservations here are essential.
