Perama 2.0

The food was delicious but the service wasn’t very good. We had to grab our own menus and ask the waiter to come and take our order.

The staff is very professional, responsive to our needs, lively, the space is nice, a bit noisy, the air-conditioner was cold an uncomfortable, the food was very good, the wine initially was cloudy, but we got a replacement, I did enjoyed the fact that we have free sparkling water.

We have dined here many times Perama 1 & 2 and there were always many good experiences but the last couple of times we have left unhappy and this visit nailed the coffin for us. We were always greeted and remembered at the door by a lovely woman, always feeling welcomed back and remembered our names and asked how things have been but this visit no one seemed to be able to find our booking on arrival let alone greet us or care for our support of the place. Finally seated our food took so long to come out to the table and upon asking the waitress and stating we were hungry that did not speed things up either. No one should be waiting over an hour for mezze food and when the food arrived eventually it was COLD. No one cared. Perama has really dropped the ball. What was once a great experience is now a distant memory of that. We have always tried to support but that was definately our last visit.

Food was great and service was great. There was a few long time lags in between dishes and a delay in getting our table even though it was booked. Apart from that which is not a huge deal our experience was great! Upstairs seating is really nice a little crowded and loud but nice.

Booked 5 weeks before to sit outside disability - not honoured

left with a full belly, feeling happy and we will be back.. :-)

Great restaurant! Food was really beautifully cooked and plentiful. Staff were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was very good. We were seated upstairs and it felt like we were in Greece. We had a 2 year old with us and they couldn't have been nicer to her. Would really recommend Perama 2 and will definitely be back soon.

Impeccable Service: The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a positive dining experience for their guests.   I wholeheartedly recommend this place and would definitely visit again when in Sydney.

Good atmosphere, seemed as though the restaurant dont take a look at bookings as they had to ask me about my own booking. Great food.

Food was very very good BUT very small table that could not fit sharing plates. Food rushed to table. Time pressure overall so needed to eat fast. Not an experience to repeat.

We were seated in an area we didn't want. Had to remind staff of drinks each time we ordered. Meals came out too quickly. Had been before a few times and loved it. This time, food was still great but enjoyment down due to shoddy service

Quality of the food was excellent, especially the pricing to portions were reasonable! Everything came out at an understandable time based on our table size as well. Only problem I came across was the upstairs dining room was extremely humid and warm since the air con couldnt be turned on. Window cracked wasn't enough unfortunately. Other than that the dining experience as a whole was excellent.

Second time jiving dinner here. The food is amazing. Probably the tastiest Greek food I’ve had. Saganaki was a taste sensation. We were well looked after service wise too.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Very friendly staff who looked after us on date night and left us feeling like they genuinely cared about our experience and having a good night. 10/10 would recommend and be a returning customer.

We had great dinner with a friend. Plenty of delicious and fresh food. Value for money and the owner and staff are super friendly, attentive and happy to assist with any requests. We highly recommend Perama and definitely we will visit them again! Thanks for looking after us.

The food was delicious as always. Great value and service.

We really enjoyed the vibe, the great Greek wine and the impeccable service. We enjoyed the food too but my husband had a reaction to the pork belly baklava. Nothing wrong with it but it was too much fat and richness for one person. It would have been great if there had been more of us and we could have shared it among us. I only had a bit and it was delicious but definitely over the top in richness. A shame as we really enjoyed the braised octopus and barramundi dishes.

Love the food! It’s amazing everytime we go. Only disappointing part was I specified I needed space for a pram and to ensure when we order dessert they add a candle. Once we arrived the spot meant for us was given away so there was no spots to sit outside with a pram as the pram couldn’t fit, so I had to take the bassinet part out and put it on a chair. When we ordered food I asked can we order dessert the lady said later and you will probably be full for it anyways. So none of the requests I made at my booking were met!
