Good food and service cannot fault it! Very enjoyable experience

Table was so sticky we put paper towel down & it stuck to the table 🤯 Wait staff didn’t tell us how to order or confirm everything was ok. Nothing was cleared away even when the staff could see we were doing the birthday cake & clearly finished with our main food. I had to stack the dirty plates up myself. Pork ribs were dry & chewy. The rest of the meat was great. Last time the chicken was dry & the ribs were great so it must just be luck of the draw.

Food was nice staff was friendly but poorly trained. They missed or forgot orders which was unfortunate. But they recovered quickly which was nice.

Food was delicious. Eat fast though and be prepared to be ask to leave your table pretty much on the hour as the clean up around you.

Food portions were huge! And so tasty. The beef brisket melted in our mouth and ribs were delicious. Staff were friendly and polite and very welcoming. Will be returning again!

Good service at decent prices with a family/ diner vibe. Food was very average - ribs were very dry, salty potatoes, cherry pie contents were too sweet. Brisket was tender (saved by the fat), while crust of pie was probably the best thing.throughout. Can’t say we will be going back anytime soon.

Our first time at Porkies. The food and drinks were great but being oldies, it was too noisy for us. Very hard to hear each other.

Ok, the food was delicious with big portions. If you like American bbq it's very, very good. The service was ok but when the food came out, no one told us you had to grab cutlery yourself. To get a refill of iced tea you had to line up and ask at the one till as there is no bar as such. The restaurant is very noisy, unpleasantly so. It was hard to hold a conversation. It's a shame as we live too far away to get takeaway and we wouldn't choose to dine in again. The toilet also has a damaged seat and two microwaves and an industrial pressure washer stored in there. Great food but a poor dining experience.

This place always delivers. The Sampler was huge and delicious. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Always a great night

Great food, friendly staff. So busy that it makes the service a little slow but to be expected. Very very noisy. Little area used for kids to play could be for another table or two instead.

The food, decor & atmosphere were great, though the service let it down a bit. Upon arrival we were told which table was ours but the attention stopped there. We had to flag him down to ask if it was table service or order at the counter, we also were not told we had to get our own plates and cutlery, so when the food arrived, we were a little confused and had to ask again. When we got cutlery, there were not enough clean forks left, and our drinks came to the table well after all the food after a fairly hefty wait. I would suggest a smidge more training for the staff to bring the service up to match the food quality.

food here is always great and good value too, ribs are a must try. The only issue I have is everytime I go the plates cups and cutlery are never clean, they always smell weird/dirty. also the tables are always sticky. once those are fixed this place would be perfect

Food was awesome, the ambience is so relaxed and the staff are lovely. Brisket has got to be some of the best I’ve ever had. And the boss sent out ice cream for the kids 🖤 What’s not to love!
