We really enjoyed the food and drinks at Colonel Tans - both were made with care. The staff were friendly but the restaurant space was strangely set in the space and seemed to be a hangout for other staff and people who work locally in the area which made us feel a bit like intruders.

very good restaurant. nice service with attentive waiters. food was high quality. Pad thai was very nice but a little excessive on the noodle proportions, papaya salad was great, with a strong beetroot quality, brocolli and kale nice was tasty without being overbearing, and sweet potato 'cigars' and peanut dipping sauce were delicious. white wine great too.

Love this place! They have a new menu so there are new things to try. I do wish they would bring back the betel leaf wraps with the fresh fish though.

Food was pleasant and good atmosphere. Service was ok, but slow.

Was just an ok experience. We had a large group and did the banquet but there wasn't much food at all and the group left hungry.

Nice little spot in the heat of Prahran. Food was great, a little noisy if your looking for a quite dinner but overall a nice experience.

My main dish arrived 15-20 minutes after everyone I was dining with and they had finished their meals before I got to start. Howver food was delicious and the service was great

Food was terrible, beef was too tough that we couldn't eat it, service was dismal. Curries were watery and lacked flavour, the lamb didn't even taste like lamb

Revolver Upstairs / Colonel Tans has consistently served great food over the years. I always enjoy going back to the restaurant and tried some old classics with a modern twist. Friendly staff, great vintage decor and delicious food give this place 6/6!

Avoid this place ! We were 3 people and ordered 3 different dishes. At the end, 2 of us were very ill after dinner. What a shame

Colonel Tan’s is always a good time! Highly recommend the Penang lamb curry, Colonel’s five spice chicken and the pork belly with kale. Absolutely delicious

Great fun! Mikey’s trivia night was excellent. Great entertainment, fun and even dancing and food, service and drinks were great. We’ve made it a bit of an annual tradition amongst a close group of friends.

Great food and excellent service . The venue is really out there with interesting art and retro furnishings and decor. Overall we had a lovely dinner.
