Food was delicious, I wish the service was up to same level as the food.. I booked the table via quandoo app, we were on time and restaurant was pretty quiet with lots of tables available, we were given a table that was pushed up the wall on a darker area almost behind the bar, it wasn't comfortable for 4 people. Waitress kept mixing up our drink orders, and I feel like she was having a bad day, wasn't pleasant..

The food is amazing. A lot of stuff is gluten free and they have a separate menu to work from. The staff are friendly helpful and the atmosphere is chill and relaxed.

Colonel Tan's is my place of choice. I love this place for its atmosphere, vibe and scrumptious food. Don't walk past the crab and lotus leaf salad!

Nicki is a great hostess. The food is excellent. Love the Bangkok bolognais. Authentic and spicy. Best kept secret. The beetle leaf salads are generous and so tasty.

Great food and fantastic service. Wine pairing recommendations by the staff were helpful and much appreciated. I will definitely be back, as I am never disappointed by my dining experience at Colonel Tan's.

good atmosphere good food. good selection of drinks. A tad bit noisy for conversations to take place over a meal. Still a recommended spot to have a meal if you are around chapel st.

Whats not to love. Thursday nights are locals and members nights - half priced food! And what delicious food it is. Definitely go for the Colonel's Fried Chicken. The Betel Leaf salad is also a must try - both the fish and the vegetarian ones are great. I prefer the veggie one as it is fresher.

This is one of my favourite places to have my birthday and celebrate with friends. The vibe is amazing, the food is delicious and the service beyond fantastic.

Nice place with a good atmosphere. But you have to wait a wile for the food to arrive and the music were a bit loud. Okay prices too. Overall a good restaurant

Such a fantastic option for dinner on Thursdays. Local's night means 50% off food. The perfect service combined with a brilliant dinner DJ makes this one of my favourite things to do on Thursday evening.

Food was excellent, but some items from our order were missed. It was super busy on a Thursday night and felt the service could have been better. But great atmosphere and tasty food! It’s my third time here!

Had a permanent booking every Thursday since 2012....it’s brilliant, always good, always delicious. If you haven’t been then you’re missing out, try the fat duck noodles, lamb curry, the fried chicken, the lamb cigars just try everything.

Great food. Chinese broccoli with pork belly was really good, and so was the popcorn chicken. My partner had the satay burger with roti, and loved it also.

Good food. Good table service. The music and environment can get a little loud, but it’s okay. Just don’t expect a quiet dining experience. Bangkok bolognese is a must-try!

Awesome venue and the food is to die for, highly recommended, Locals night just ices the cake. There are multiple venues up stairs if you want to stay after hours.

food is yum and service is very accomodating and friendly. our food was delayed but the staff made sure we were comfortable and did their best to get us fed as quickly ad possible.

The food very disappointing. I've been to Colonel Tan's a few years ago and it was sensational. This time the meal was very bad. The service was really average as well. Don't know what happened to that place...

Love this place! We are regulars for Thursday locals nights. We love to take friends along too. Staff are usually great, we’ve had one disappointing experience but in about 20 visits that is not bad odds. Food is ALWAYS perfect.

Delicious food. Service was great but they did forget our dessert order. As other comments I’ve seen definitely worth going but don’t expect a completely flawless experience.

Always a great time at this venue. The Thai food is incredible. We nearly get the 5 spice friedchicken every time we come here. The new snapper mains are also very delicious. I prefer the Freid Snapper with BokChoy and Tamarind sauce. Cannot wait for the next time!

Service a little slow and waitress did forget some of the sides we ordered. However , great atmosphere and food was amazing so we didn’t mind.

Such an excellent time as always at Colonel Tans. The servers are so accomodating. There is great music and great food. With the local's special on Thursday, it is the perfect Thursday evening hang out.

Amazing cuisine yet again, hence why I continue to return. Staff are always pleasant considering the amount of customers flock to this exceptional restaurant. I haven't come across anyone that has been disappointed

This is the second time I’ve eaten at the colonels, easily one of the best Thai venues I’ve been. Recommended it to some friend and they loved it too. So good!

Very unique and different interesting Thai food and decor. Service was good and was a quiet night. Music was good. A little bit too much pepper in the duck.

Always a good time at Colonel Tans! I have a new favorite dish now, the snapper with greens. Cannot wait to come back to try the other snapper dish! The monthly specials (inspired by DJs) are also something to look forward to.

Colonel Tan never disappoints. We love the spicy Asian flavours. Consistently delicious. Lots of stairs to this hidden culinary treat, but well worth the climb.
