This is our favourite restaurant. We are regulars and we absolutely love the food, the menu choice, the value for money and the wonderful Rocksalt team. They are the very best!

Fantastic food and service will definitely be back there again! Went to celebrate. Birthday with a group of 12 Everybody loved their meals! Great night!

Good food good service. Italian restaurant who uses packet pasta, would have liked home made fresh pasta. Quiet when empty, very loud when full tables. Go early so as you can hear others on your table talk.

very friendly, good value for money, good quality beef and veal for main courses. Entrees were good too All over an pleasant experience in comfy warm surroundings

The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was quick to arrive and so very good. Our son had squid and chips and I was pleasantly surprised that there was more squid than chips. Will definitely be back.

We booked a table of 6. Staff is helpful and friendly, servings are generous and quite tasty but a little salty generally. Noise level quite high.

Great food and always friendly good service. THe restaurant is BYO, however there is a bar for a pre dinner drink, My favourite local restaurant. IF driving, parking is easy.

The main dinner was amazing! I regularly go here and am never disappointed. The food is delicious in a cosy and comfortable environment. Highly recommended for a local restaurant.

Hard to find, no signage,located upstairs. Near train station for convenience of not driving. Good atmosphere, good service & food. Not too fussed on the dumpling soup.

Went for Mothers Day dinner with our family and was brilliant. Great service. Amazing menu. Food fabulous. Free glass of champs on arrival which was lovely.

The wait staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. Couldn't recommend rocksalt more if I tried! Try the salted caramel popcorn mess if you go. Yum!

We tried this restaurant for the first time & were delighted with the friendly service & the very tasty food line. In fact we said that it was better than on top cruise ship Italian specialty restaurants. Pleasant atmosphere & lovely staff. Will return.

Great food. Warm service and a great space. Not over-crowded and a nice range of options to eat and drink. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

Friendly service & delicious food. Great for any occasion & very family friendly. My only criticism is that I would like the kids meals to include a serve of veg or salad, that's the only reason I've scored a 5 & not 6.

Food was delicious, although we only had a main course and bread. Would recommend for small groups or couples. Service was very good, and we had a trainee serving us. The young lady was very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. We have been to this restaurant before and the food never disappoints. Would recommend this restaurant.

Great service and food. The staff are excellent and the wait times acceptable considering the restaurant was full. Initially a little noisy but you get used to it.

Standard of food is consistent. Best garlic bread ever! Local gem and nice family restaurant. Staff always smiling and friendly. Lots of parking in the area.

Always a great experience at Rockdale Italian. Great quality food, very decent serving sizes, good service, BYO and value for money. Can't ask for much more.

Great Service. The staff were attentive without being pushy. The food was delicious and dessert was Amazing. Try the snickers bar dessert. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely food and service. A pleasant change from the run of the mill Italian restaurants. Only downside we were seated near the kitchen and there was more chatter and laughing Come from there particularly at the end of the night that it was difficult to hear around the table.

Good atmosphere! However food started good and slowly worsened. Desert cream was gone off and later when we got home all of us who ate at the restaurant were sick

The food was great, the atmosphere was calm and quiet - so nice to be able to talk easily with friends. (love a restaurant with well spaced out tables and carpet on the floor for noise reduction) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly go there again.

Enjoyable, however we both had steak and my partner's was a little on the tough side which is very unusual as we always love our meal here.

Poor air conditioning on what was a very hot day. Service not worthy of tip. Very noisy. Beer and water not cold enough, had to ask for ice.

Restaurant was excellent. Food was great. Was a touch pricey for what we got but I wouldn't let it stop me from going. Will be back for sure!

Made a booking for a birthday celebration. Service was attentive and helpful from the start. Everyone was please with the meal, all the way from the youngest declaring 'this is the best garlic bread I've ever had' through to my favaourite the tiramisu in a jar.

Nice food as usual, and it was not too noisy for a Saturday night. A welcome escape from the heat. Always love the affogato!! Good neighbourhood restaurant.

Attended Tuesday night. Poor service. Meals took a long time to arrive. Beef medium when rare was requested. Risotto was served without prosciutto. Very noisy.

An extremely noisy restaurant, to a point where you could not have a conversation at all! Not a place to go for a relaxing quiet meal.The food was nothing outstanding , service was good.
