Scarborough Harbour Brewing Co. Restaurant (UPPER DECK)

Have been twice first was great the special $20 steak best steak ever downstairs. The 2nd upstairs a $42 surf & turf mys husband stayed with the steak his was amazing our was as it was be covered was beaten out to look bigger and not good. No finger bowls for the prawns and tiny morton bay bug. $14 a glass of wine ridiculous, very loud can t hear each other speak. Tried to give feedback to the manager but he just wasn t interested and no not overly busy.

Had a lovely evening. Food was good, beer was great. The only thing is they need acoustic panels indoors upstairs because it was so noisy you couldn’t hear each other.

Very noisy upstairs inside dining, ran out of Canadian club on tap at 6.30pm live music finished before 7pm

Menu leans heavily towards deep fried items, together with side salads that are drenched in creamy dressings, making them almost soggy. Personally, a grilled fish option would be nice + a crisp veg/salad variant. Pricewise,..... Share plates = over priced for deep fried fare. Mains = better value but more deep fried fare. Would drink their craft beers again, but food I'm not so sure. Not with Morgans Seafood next door as an option.

Staff were completely disorganised and had no idea what was going on, nice enough but very disorganised. Food was average, salad was out of a packet not freshly cut. Drink orders arrived missing items. Some drink orders never arrived and asked 4 separate staff members. None came back with the drinks or acknowledgment. Kids soft drinks ordered at 1240 and arrived at 240pm.. yes it’s new but they need to seriously get organised and train their staff. If the app isn’t working for orders / service, look at other avenues or get the system organised properly. I hope they sort it out as it has great potential!

Waited 30 mins for our beers, 1hr for entrees and 1hr 30 mins for Mains. the food was okay and service needs to be worked on as no one told us where our food was after all of that time. We are hopeful that more beers are added to the list as they call themselves a brewery and sell more merch than they do beers. We do understand that they are a new venue and have room for improvement.

Service was horrible, meals were average. Kids meals came out last. The whole operation wasn’t pleasant, a waste of my time and money. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Had the seafood platter presentation was great the food was fresh & tasty

Location and view from upstairs dining room is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Fish tacos were very disappointing and expensive for what you get - tacos did not seem very fresh. More chips should be included in dishes. Deck needs a large sail so people can enjoy sitting out there in daytime. Venue is very new so hopefully will keep improving.

I ordered the Asian octopus and it was chewy with minimal taste, the salad was just an average salad, unfortunately nothing to write home about. very expensive for average pub style food. They need to explore better styles of food, be more adventurous, give your customers something to wow about, sorry guys, but very disappointing from me.

I had booked upstairs outside for our anniversary dinner. We were told on arrival there were no tables available outside, however after I spoke with them, they did find us a tall table for 6 (there were 2 of us). Ordered bubbles to drink and would have preferred a champagne flute rather than a wine glass. Ordered rump steak with salad and chips. Steak was very tough and hard to cut without a steak knife. It was an average night.

Lovely water views but expensive on both food and drinks. Ordering was via your mobile phone which is a bit impersonal.

Love this place so much and great to have it in the peninsula, only feedback is they music was too loud in the dining area and could not hear the group talking we all had to shout. It would of been better downstairs. Love love it though

Food was nice and served quickly. We were upstairs inside and it was extremely noisy as there are no soft furnishings. Drinks are very expensive and there was a 'Sunday' charge which is the first Ive ever seen. Staff are somewhat friendly and helpful but by the look of the giant pile of dirty glasses on the bar, they are still learning! Delicious margaritas!! Drink of the night.

Tasty food and drinks. Food arrived quickly and was correct. Friendly service. We had a booking outside but we were relocated inside due to rain. Overall good night.

We had a table for 6 booked. We had specifically emailed the venue requesting the deck. Upon arrival we were offered a table upstairs inside and advised that bookings for the deck can be "requested but are not confirmed". Downstairs the venue was incredibly busy. Like an inner city pub and, if you don't mind crowds and lots of noise, looked to be quite a good atmosphere. The deck upstairs looked nice too but unfortunately we didn't get to try it. The interior upstairs wasn't what we were after. Far too many tables jammed wall to wall and terrible accoustics. So loud we had to shout at the person across the table. We had one drink and chose to leave and head up the road to another venue for the rest of the night. Overall they've done a nice job on the renovation and the staff were quite pleasant. Unfortunately the upstairs area just has so many tables jammed in that it is like a food court on steroids. It was a disappointing venture for us but perhaps if you are lucky enough to get a seat outside it is a different experience.

Food was good nice fit out service could do with some attention early days I know not too keen on the service charge either

We were upstairs on the deck. We had a great time. The main feedback we would share is that it is very loud inside. Perhaps the room needs some soft furnishings to soak up some of the noise and stop it from echoing around the room. We will definitely be back and like the look of the ambiance downstairs for our next visit.

Was an all round great time had and drinks and good on offer was new and exciting. For anyone planning an afternoon or night here, I recommend trying a Navy strength Gkn Mule or two paired with thw cob loaf, you can't go wrong!!

Steaks were great & a good price. The surf / turf nice but don't get putting sauce on unpeeled prawns, you peel the prawns ( pulling out all the gross stuff) and then have no sauce on prawns only on your hands. Bigger plates so your steak doesn't make your chips soggy would be awesome but a small issue!!! Overall pretty nice spot and friendly service. Look forward to returning!

Lovely place but Unfortunately we waited 1.5 hours for our food.

On arrival we had to wait at the entrance for 5 minutes before any staff member came to greet us. We pre book an outside table on the deck to be told there we no tables available one can understand this however there were 3 tables outside not reserved asked if we could sit there only to be told no. Our table was squeezed in between other table with little room to move chairs out to sit on. Less tables would assist patrons in having a more comfortable setting to be able to relax in even the staff had trouble moving around the venue. We ordered drinks from the table to wait some 32 minutes had to ask a staff member to check for us he came back and asked what our order was to only go back to the to see where our order was came back with the Wrong drinks to be fare the staff did an amazing job. Ordered our entrees again we waited 1hr 18minutes as we continued to ask the staff if they could see what the hold up was agin the staff acted very professional and courteous at all times lunch came some 1hr later. The food was excellent when we got it. There seemed to be in trained staff behind the bar as each order we place the pour full of the wine for a large glass was different every time For example the first glass was filled to the top second glass half full third glass 3/4 filled asked a senior lady on the floor about this to be told it’s how they have been trained not sure exactly what she meant. Overall the site is in a fantastic spot

We requested a high chair on booking and didnt receive one. The table we were given did have 6 chairs for a seating of 4 so there was plenty of room. We ended up dragging our own high chair over to the table as we couldn't get any eye contact for a waitress.

Great food. Fantastic view. Staff were lovely and their lager was nice.
