Sedap Place restaurant

This is one amazing place. The food is very unique with traditional and contemporary mesh and any dish on the menu is worth trying out. Don't even get me started on the deserts. Thumbs way up!

Positives - Food was good, staff were polite and courteous. Nice vibe to the place. Negatives - Food took a long to arrive. They ran out on their most popular dessert, ice kachang even before dinner time at 7pm.

The only issue we had was waiter/waitress's knowledge on the dishes, like level of hotness, because spiciness of the dishes was way hotter than we expected. We are used to eating hot stuff but where we were told it was mild but found it too hot. That spoiled some of our friends' expectation.

Overall it was good and we enjoyed our dinner. Cant help much with the noise level tho as the place is small

we arrived table was not ready. we were asked to be sitted in a dirty table. then the whole service was like self yourself no attention to anything brought the extra side plate first 10 mimnutes later the main plate we were meant to have with the side no tap water we had to ask for it no cuttlery we had to go get it no napkins we had to go get it. to be fair the restaurant was understaff so was not the fault of the waiters

We booked a table for two so the table was ready when we turned up. The dishes were delicious as always and service was great and prompt.

Great place, but very busy and wait times to place an order, then receive starters and then receive mains was far too long. They have on their web site that they expect dinners at 6pm to be max 1.5hrs, we were expecting a 1 to 1.25hr dinner it took 1.45 hrs, not our choice, just slow service.

Food was good and tasty except the fried chicken with the Nasi Lemak was extremely crunchy and hard. It was very busy and they seemed short staffed but the food came out quick and the service was good and friendly.

Slow getting order taken. One meal beef curry was tough. Other dishes excellent. Hard to get waiters’ attention to get drinks. Ended up having to go to counter to order more drinks.

The food was delicious as always but perhaps they were understaffed because we had to ask several times for water and one of our meals. The meals took a long time to emerge and at the end of the meal, one of us felt really sick and ended up throwing up. We were hoping they would comp us the meal that came really late (it was roti canai which was really undercooked (about 6 shades lighter than one that arrived earlier) but no such luck. I think it will be a while before I return here.

I had a lunch date with my mother at Sedap Place, it was my second time there and her first, she really enjoyed it! Although it was very spicy! I really appreciated how waiters helped me with take away containers made things so much more efficient. I did reserve the booking because the previous time i went there I was waiting to be served and seated for quite a long time!

Food was great, service a bit slow need more wait staff. Servings good size but place is quite noisy. Need some sound attenuation.

The place is Nicely decorated and can’t really complaint about the food as everything was spot on the day when we were they for lunch.
