Sedap Place restaurant

Food was great but my friend was nearly finished her meal before I got mine. I had to remind the waiter I was still waiting, he was very apologetic.

We really like the food here, but we found the service particularly poor this last visit. We waited over half an hour for our food, and other tables who ordered after us were getting their dishes before us. And these were dishes that we had also ordered. It’s not as though they were ensuring all our meals came out together - which never happens in our experience. We had to chase up the status of dishes and only in complaining were we offered any sort of apology. Whilst there are certain dishes that are very tasty, it’s not worth the extra cost, poor service and long waiting times.

Frequent visitor to this restaurant. Always enjoy the food. Very tasty and authentic.

Busy eatery along the Victoria park street serving authentic Malaysian Cuisine. We tried a few dishes ranging from noodles, rice, and roti and they were all delicious and affordable. Drinks selection was good too. Food did take a little while to come out though during peak lunch hour.

Ordered a Roti Tsunami unfortunately the soft eggs turned out nearly well done. However staff handled the mistake reasonably well. The roti was drenched in curry, dhal & sambal, and was fiery and delicious

Food was excellent and good value for money. It was quite busy so while service was polite and friendly, it was a little disorganised (e.g. had to ask a few times for my order and more water) but not huge issues for me. Definitely worth going back again.

It was enjoyable. Food was good. Service was above average but seats were uncomfortable.

Excellent food as always. Needs to be greeter at the door at all times There was a queue already so was willing to wait but no greeter to check our reservation. Will keep coming back because there is no other restaurant that comes close to it! Restaurant is too small to cope with demand. Don’t understand why do much space at rear of restaurant is not utilised

It was very crowded on Saturday afternoons so thankfully we made reservations. What a great variety of roti specials! Will be back to try more.

One of our favorite place for good Malaysian food. Best roti canai and Teh Tarik in Perth.

Overall satisfied with service and food quality. We went to Sedap especially for the Roti Fiesta and were pleasantly impressed. Hope to go back for seconds before the promotion ends.

Went during lunchtime was quiet when arrived at 12pm it was packed after half an hour later. Had the roti and teh Tarik. Amazing

I am happy with the food and service. However the 2-seater tables are placed too close to each other (which is less than one feet apart), so close that we can hear clearly the conversation in our next 2-seater table. This is very unpleasant as we cannot have a decent conversation at all.
