really good authentic food if you are looking for a place with lots of flavour

Still our favorite place for roti canai and Teh Tarik.

A little pricey but overall the food was okay. :)

When we arrived at the place, the waitress not sure where to let’s us sit, we required to wait to find out. After that, we been told all the soups menu already sold out, which we planned to order Assam laksa and prawn noodle soup. We ordered something else, the food very salty, end up we need to drink lots of water during night time..

Fabulous Malaysian food and tasty deserts especially on hot summer days/nights. I will be coming back. Recommend to book before. Tricky finding a place to park the car in Vic Park though not impossible

The food was very tasty. There were only two waitresses who were very good but because it was busy, may be the kitchen staff took time, the service seemed bad. Some items for our group came quite late.

Always enjoy eating at Sedap Place. There is often some delay between ordering and getting your meal. Staff are busy so its sometimes hard to get their attention...but the food is great so its worth the wait.

The menu is authentic Malaysian with attractive presentation. The service is excellent and the pricing is reasonable. No problem with parking. Sedap Place is not surprisingly a favourite Malaysian Restaurant for our family.

It was a delicious dining experience as always. Arriving earlier than anticipated we were still seated and our orders were taken and meals arrived quickly.

Happy with the food generally but service was a bit lacking. We were seated right away when we arrived. However took quite a while for us to get attention from the service staff to take our orders. Restaurant was busy and they do not have enough staff. I can only see 2 staff, greetings customer, seating customers and serving dishes at the same time. Our drinks were only served half way through our food.

We always enjoy eating at Sedap whenever the opportunity arises. Traveling a distance usually makes one reconsider eating out. Traveling to Sedap is worth it. There is such a variety to try each time even for vegetarians.

Attentive service. Food 3½ / 5. Chendol shaved ice dessert was too compressed requiring force to dig in and loosen sending ice crystals everywhere .

while the service was slow we did not mind as we were not in a hurry. The food was out standing and the cost was very affordable on the side of being too cheap. This is my 3rd visit and i will be back

Excellent Malaysian food...well priced for a great night out Service was excellent and the menu offered many variables to suit all diners. Will become a favourite!

We were excited to give a treat to our brother on his birthday after an excellent first dining experience the week before. However, we are disappointed to say that it had been a complete opposite last night. There were 5 of us. The dishes were served to one person first, and after about 10mins, the second and third person were served (but not complete order), the fourth and fifth person had to wait a total of almost 35 mins before being served (these were dishes that did not require long cooking time). We then had to keep following-up on the incomplete order for the second and third persons as well as the three ice kacangs that we ordered. The ice kacangs' ice were not shaved, they were grinded. This made eating difficult as the ice bonded back quickly. They should use a commercial quality ice shaving machine. In total, we spent 1.5hrs for a meal - almost like fine dining time. The quality of the meal is good though.

The service at this place is usually very good. But unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience yesterday. We ordered nasi lemak with fried chicken but the kitchen forgot our fried chicken. We had to wait for about 20 min after reminding them that we have not received the order. So our nasi lemaks were already cold by the time the chicken were here. When we made the payment, the staff apologised and offered a 10% discount, which we appreciated. But then later she told us that there was a public holiday surchange of 10%, which kind of took away the pleasure of getting the discount. All in all, mistakes do happen, so I hope that this is just a once off experience due to the crowd during public holiday.

We had lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Great food and drinks. Family friendly. Chendol frappe was awesome.. will definitely be back to try other foods.

A very satisfying dinner, excellent food,service and staff,definitely go again. The food was very flavorful, restaurant packed, good atmosphere, priced very reasonably. Worth going again
