Good presentation and service.foodis fusion Malaysian.tasty but not as authentic as I would like. Sun was very intense. Needs blinds or shade . Had to use menu to block sun.
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Some chairs could be improved but service was good and prompt. I was glad we booked as there was a queue later.
The food was fantastic, good service.Book for 8pm but got there 10 minutes early and had a table immediately. Had nasi lemon, med goreng and beehoon goreng will go again for the laksa
Great service as usual. Chicken Laksa was cold though. I usually get the vegetarian laksa which is always great.
Sedap place is always one of my prefered eateries around Perth and it hasn’t failed to amaze me today. The food is tasty and fresh as usual and the service always comes with a smile.
It was a group of 5 and the restaurant was quite full when we arrived. The service was a little bit slow. Our foods were not served at the same time. There was a big time gap. So some of us nearly finish while the other just got their foods. Foods was average.
favourite nasi lemak joint in Perth. A little more pricey than some of the others, but miles ahead in terms of taste and amount. Plus you can collect rewards points
Very tasty traditional Malay food. It was my first time dining at Sedap and I will be back for sure. Service was also very good.
Little bit sad that the nasi lemak burger is no longer available on the menu but the variety of choices on the menu does make up for it.
It was a very hot day 37C and the air conditioning was not really sufficient enough to cope especially when the front door kept being left open by customers who are entering and exiting. Food was as usual up to the expected standard. Nice environment barring the extreme heat from outside creeping in.
The restaurant provided a very cosy and relaxing environment. Food was great, price was reasonable, and the service was quick. Staff was also helpful in fulfilling our requests.
Attentive staff welcomed us and carefully explained various aspects of the interesting menu. Our particular requests for variations were well received and accommodated for our enjoyment.
Service is okay. I was expecting the service to be better. It was my first time there, instead of bringing us to the table, one of the staff just pointed (using the menu or something) where we should sit. Which we were confused for a bit. So it was a really bad first impression. Although the rest of the staff were really nice and friendly. I know it's good to have different combo for the nasi lemak so that it would be your signature dish. But I wish the combination could have been better. The achar and the brown thing (with ginger in it I think) were just off for me. It was sour and sweet. Were we meant to mix everything all together with the rice? Which I don't get it. Loved the rendang beef though :)
Great venue, simple, good happy wait staff. Food was ok but the kacang dessert was a highlight and great cultural experience. We had kway Teo. Was pretty salty and nothing like the yummy one we had at same venue a month ago. Sadly not very consistent.
Generous servings and good food. Service a bit haphazard. We specified no chilli in the noodles but it came with chilli. The ice kachang wasn’t consistent. One was done well but another had a block of hard ice.
We ordered the Roti Canai and Nasi Lemak (Chicken curry). Both were delicious, prices are reasonable for the restaurant’s nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Yummy food/drinks & excellent service with a smile! We had nasi goreng, kwai tiao, hot & cold teh tarik - highly recommend these. We'll definitely return!
Amazing food!! Great service. Highly recommend the sharing Nasi Lemak......and don't be tempted to order any more than that as it is a very generous serving for two......plus you must leave room for the Cendol Ice Kachang! My 'food baby' thanks you 😂
Great selection of Malaysian dishes such as Mee Goreng and Nasi Lemak. Highly recommend the three layered tea.
Good service. Enjoyed the nasi lenak to share. Had two noodle dishes, both the noodles were a bit too soft for our liking.
great food quick service very busy so we book in advance
Great food! Everything was so delicious and we were happy with all of the food we ordered. I would definitely visit again with friends soon.
The speed of service was excellent. The food, however, wasn't great. Value for money was good, but I wouldn't rush back for another meal anytime soon.
So deliciously sedap!! Authentic Malaysian food, full of flavour with the right hit of chilli 🌶. Had the kuay teow, 2 sedap 2 share, and roti chanai between the 3 of us plus a toddler. Drinks are yum too! Had the ice chendol. Was too full so didn't try dessert. But will come back and try them!
We visited Sedap yesterday for an easy lunch - the place was busy, so be sure to book beforehand; the staff are real friendly, the food was good and for a decent price. We will be back!
The food at Sedap Place was excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable and polite. The restaurant was clean and the seating even though it was cosy was comfortable.
The chicken rice is so delicious! Definitely would recommend it
Both hubby and I had curry laksa, the best i have ever had in Perth. Also the Roti tasted good and the price was reasonable.
Great teh tarik, meals and service : ) Almost always full which speaks volumes about happy customers. A bit pricey but perhaps justified. Will be going back.
I would give it a higher score if just for me, the food was authentic and brought back tastes of Penang in the early 70's. When asked about the spice/heat level of a dish for my wife she was told the Laksa was very mild. It was in fact hotter than my Char Kuey Teow which was a medium spice. Disappointing for her as it was our 18th Wedding anniversary lunch. Also disappointing that some items on the menu were unavailable.
Great food and service. Staff were pleasant however the food was pretty damn good. Serving sizes were great, it did look a little pricey but when the food came out, you know it was well priced.
The portions were very large, and it was reasonably priced, the food was traditional and the food was very tasty. The service was good also. Recommended!
All the dishes we ordered was perfect except for the original laksha. The soup in it tasted raw curry. Maybe, others might like it this way. One more thing, the takeaways were handed to us before the instant noodle (dine-in) which took very long to come. It would be nicer, if we can have a choice of more dishes. However, I still highly reccommend this restaurant.
Great food, great atmosphere and great price. We booked a table of 7 and there was a last minute cancellation and only had 5, they were bot upset and happily served is. Really enjoyed it.
Love this place. Delicious food, great prices. Lunch is usually quiet but must book for dinner.
Food was good, dessert was excellent. Some of the waitresses could have offered better customer service though. Just little things could make the difference. For example, when bringing food to the table, you could see and obvious empty area and make the effort to walk few more steps to put the food there, rather than just squeezing everything to one corner of the table
Nice environment with good food.Friendly staff and well priced.I would recommend this place to all who want to try Malaysian food.A must try for everyone who enjoys food!
I ordered the maggi goreng, which was good and flavoursome. My friend ordered the kway teow soup with prawn wantons, which was full of prawn wantons but the soup had no flavour. That was the only disappointing aspect of the entire dining experience as the service was good.
Good food, fast service. The nasi lemak 2 share is absolutely worth it. Can feed 3 people easily. Had the tea as well. Flavoursome as I remember having back in Asia.
Great service, friendly, helpful and attentive wait staff and the food is delicious!! Will be definitely be going back here in the very near future.
Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Fast service and well worth a visit though it can get cramped at times due to lack of space and closeness of tables.
Very nice as usual. I'm a return customer. This is the place to go for authentic Malaysian food
Fun place to dine. Waiters are very friendly and patient. A bit of a novelty type of place rather than nutritional/sustenance but I'd go again to try the prata!
Great food, cheerful and quick service plus reasonable price (5 persons for $97). We had 2 serves of nasi lemaks, 2 of fried kway teow and a wanton noodle plus a teh tarik tower and chendol for dessert. What more can one ask? I'll be back!
Love the restaurant. Super fast for order to come out. We just finished ordering and the chow kuey tew already arrived piping hot and delicious. Not crazy about the volcano laksa, not much flavour will not order again. However the tower teh tarik was yummy and super cool... not enough for us, might need to order 2 towers to make twin tower instead! Will come back for sure.
Three layer tea recommended. Mee mamak is very good and big enough to share.
Always a great place to get some great Malaysian comfort food Recommend the Nasi Lemak and prawn mee Usually a line out front so book ahead
Lovely restaurant with a fantastic crew! The service was fast, the food tasted really authentic Malaysian and delicious, and the place was really packed - goes to show how good it is! Will definitely be back again.
Same as always I am a return customer. Highly recommended place for a good Malaysian food fix
Friendly and quick service. But beef rendang not tender too hard. Good ambience but place a bit stuffy and hot. Overall food is okay and tadty
