Italian food in Perth might not have an area in which all the restaurants are centralised, a la Carlton in Melbourne or Leichhardt in Sydney, but the city is not lacking places to pick up a feed from the bel paese. Siena’s of Leederville are the premier outlet in, well, Leederville, and when you make the journey out to the north of Perth to pay them a visit at their location on Oxford Street, it isn’t hard to see why.
Siena’s have all the antipasti starters that we know and love: bruschetta, calamari, garlic bread, chilli prawns, mozzarella croquettes and plenty more, as well as Minestrone soup and a huge range of salads. Once you’ve had your fill there then you can move on to the star of the show: the pizza. Alongside the classics – margherita, pepperoni, vegetarian – there are more expansive and authentic options such as Calabrese, with ricotta, grilled eggplant and oregano, Jojo, with Italian sausage and leg ham and the extra special Salmone, on a tomato-free base and featuring salmon, brie, mozzarella and basil. Throw in a selection of parmigianas, an Italian gelato list and a wine list as long as your arm and you’re well on the way to a big night out in Perth. Book a table today and set a course for Oxford Street in Leederville for an Italian feast at Siena’s.
Lots of waitresses but no One served us. Meal came out at all different times. Garlic bread was suppose to be before mains but came later. Meals were good though.
The meals are getting steadily worse every time we visit. That is us done with Sienna's for a very long time. Overly salty with cheap and nasty ingredients used
Great family night out as always and looking forward to the next time!
Pizzas had a nice flavour, however the centres of both were a so soggy a puddle had formed. Pizzas could not be eaten by hand, never had to previously eat a pizza with knife and fork, today we did.
Need more Gluten free options, very hard to get in and out the entry way as it was being blocked with people trying to pay
Food wasn't very nice at all mains were horrible sauce had no taste chicken was chewy wasn't happy at all muscles was good don't think we will be back
Barn like, free for all...... food was churned out.... getting a bottle of tap water was a 'problem' for us as a table of 2 people.
Worst pizza I've had in years. The only good thing was the indoor play area . I have berna loyal patron since it opened 😰
Food was bland, arancini was cold on the inside. I was a bit disappointed considering the awesome reviews from friends we'd had before we went.
Disappointing. I ordered Pizza and my dining partner ordered pasta. The pasta was tasty. Unfortunately my Pizza was very disappointing. It had minimal toppings and was visually VERY unappealing. I was mortified that a qualified chef could send that pizza out of his kitchen. I complained but Staff unhelpful.
Food has improved. Generous amount of seafood in spaghetti marinara
