We had a fantastic experience at Squires Loft South Yarra on Saturday night. The food was absolutely mouthwatering, the staff were friendly & knowledgeable and we had a really nice time.

Really great steak here. Parking is an issue on a Friday night. No waiting time once you make a reservation. Spacious and comfortable restaurant ambience.

Great food and great service was a very pleasant dinner. Steak and ribs were nice also entree’s were cooked really well and had great flavour

The food as always was great. New staff need to be aware that you do not remove a wine glass from a table before it is empty. Overall Squires Loft do what they do very well!

This place always serve a great steak grilled to requirement with the right amount of char. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and customer service is good.

I was a bit disappointed for this visit as my steak was a bit under and chips was not crispy at all. The service was average.

Have been visiting since the South Africans first opened it with great cuts & proprietary sauces. Over the years (possibly since they've evolved into the franchise system) it appears once being counted as the best steakhouses of Melbourne, their quality of food & high-end service has suffered. Still a decent place to visit in the area.

Very good food as usual and outstanding service. Love this place, I go there every time I have a chance. The meat is always cook to perfection, wine is very good too and the perfect complement to a wonderful steak!

We had meat, it was fair but not extraudinary. Very noisy. We like classy restaurants, this one is on the cool side. Staff is very friendly. They were out of all side orders except salad and fries

Fantastic eye fillet steak, cooked medium rare perfectly. Great service and ambiance , I will definitely return. Highly recommended. Pity there aren’t any branches in NSW.

Meat was soft and cooked as ordered ‘medium’. Friendly service and very attentive. Have various wine list and Would visit again. 1 minor point - mushroom and black pepper sauces were charged 4.50 each.

Exceptional food and service everytime. It is our steak destination, they are definitely the experts. The black angus eye filet is mouth watering, highly recommended.

Amazing. Accommodated us at short notice. Asked if they could get anything for our baby. Stored our pram for us and got it back out again. Nothing was too much trouble. And the steak, to die for! Honorable mention to the chargrilled vegetables, especially the mushrooms. Fantastic experience!

I have been going to Squires Loft since 2000. Always excellent service and the food is magnificent ! Especially love the mushrooms with fetta and garlic sauce... as well as the steaks of course cooked to perfection.

As it was New Years Eve they had a set menu. Plenty of choices and reasonable value. The food and service was sensational! We will definitely be back again🥳💕🥂

Varied selection of steaks to choose from, always cooked perfectly to order with a variety of choices of sauce or mustard to accompany. Good selection of beer and wine and friendly,efficient service.

Outdated and same common issue in this country with so many hospitality staff, customers seem to be a hindrance to their everyday life. As a customer you almost feel like leaving before ordering. We ordered 4 steaks and he bill was a tad under $200, all plates had soggy chips, we asked for sauce and the waitress brought us a tiny silver cup to share between us , worth 10 times more than gold that sauce. A very unpleasant experience.

Best steak in town every time, can never fault it. Great Pepper sauce, awesome sides as well. There are many more expensive places around and very few come close

The food was quite average, my steak was quite chewy. Had high expectations, as heard from friends they are good. But the service was really nice.

The menu was exactly as expected and the food was delicious but the service staff were slow and seemed like they didn’t know who should be looking after us

Oven was broken so menu limited. Service was slow and the place was dirty. I haven't been for 3 years, but after this visit, I won't be going back. Squires Loft is not what it used to be.

Steak was lovely. But the chips slightly over cooked and way too many. And smelt like they been cooked in old oil. I’ll stick with the spud next time.

The food was excellent, the service was dismal. The best service is when you’re attended to at the correct times and not hassled every minute by a different inexperienced waitress. We are regular customers because the food is great however this experience has made us rethink our next visit.

Asian waiter was a bit aggressive and trying to up sell. Also there was an extra beer added to our bill - not sure if it was an accident.

Nice steak restaurant but wagyu porterhouse wasn’t worth the extra cost compared to the normal porterhouse cut. Highly reccomend the pork ribs with squires basting
