Exceptional food. We have the schnitzel, slaw,croquettes and broccoli and it was all delicious. Actually planning to return next week to try more from the menu Service was great and the atmosphere is good

Tucked away in the back of Preston. What a venue with amazing service and food. Very casual but special at the same time. Awesome venue for a intimate dinner but also great to catch up with friends. A+ Stray Neighbour

Beer was good.Wine was good. Steak was good. But they brought out the wrong meal for my wife. She wanted a porterhouse and got belly pork. They then cooked the porterhouse but it was possibly rushed because when it was put on the table it was rare and rubbery. Also I had already finished my meal. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and was a disappointment. They did give us a complimentary glass of wine to say sorry but eating seperately didn't really make up gor it. Will give it another go sometime.

Location and parking was very easy. The whole experience was fantastic. The venue was perfect to celebrate my son's birthday withe the family. Relaxed, well priced and delicious food. Service and the overall feel of the place was also above our expectations.

Menu was too restrictive. We were not full after the set course. Could have offered another option to choose from and we would have been happy to pay more for it.

All the food was amazing, we had some smalls to share and then our own mains. Great atmosphere. Staff were accommodating when we had a late extra addition to our table of 7. Definitely will be going back.

Great food with tasty fresh produce and many fantastic beer choices. Although having a 10% surcharge just for being a weekend left a bad taste.

Good food with plenty of range. Great selection of tap beers. Very accommodating staff who were happy to help with all requests. Helpful when organising a large group of people.

The food was fabulous and the wine delish. As with many places though, as a single diner, you do tend to be ignored a little and service is a bit slow.

Dinner was ok. Unsure whether the price matched the value though. Bit steep based on some meal sizing & quality. Won't be going back in a hurry - too much competition.

A regular favourite of ours. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and prompt and all in a beautiful setting. Only downside, we totally over order every time and never finish anything. The servings are very good size so don’t go crazy on sides.

Great food, huge variety of drinks, staff were very friends and the place had a great atmosphere. Would highly recommended a visit for either dinner or just a drink.

I love it here - great food, great service, great atmosphere. We played pool, drank some great beers and ate some great food - especially the dessert! Chocolate ristretto taut... yummo. Two things that were odd - no kids menu or even an offer of something for kids... but more perplexing was the Saturday/Sunday Surcharge applied to the whole meal... Really!!! I don't know about that. I get you have to pay your staff extra... but 10% extra... what happens on public holidays? So I might go back but not on a weekend. I mean, at least don't charge it on the alcohol... everyone knows the prices are already tripled on them.

While still having my drink and wanted to ask for another glass. The wait staff was quick to give us the bill when I wanted to order another drink. Felt like we were rushed out of there. Food was amazing!

Lovely food as always. It did take a little while to have our order taken which was only an issue as we had a baby in the group who needed to get home! Other than that no complaints, staff are very freindly and lovely.

Heard good things about stray Neighbour. Great meal and atmosphere. Will be back to try other things on the menu. Can’t wait to try breakfast too!!

Excellent dinner and great service. Very understanding when it came to allergies (and there were a few). They also have a very good beer and wine list.

The food was lovely and the service was Great. However we thought the music wad too loud at times and could not hear each other speak. Also found the place A bit too cold

Great coffee, simple but beautifully tasty food, friendly and attentive service. The Green eggs dish - eggs with nettles and ham hock, all on sourdough - was particularly good. My new favourite place to eat!

Menu is too limited -not enough vegetarian option. Atmosphere and wine however are great. Staff are attentive and pleasant but probs won’t be coming back to eat here.

Great service. Great cocktails and the food was mouthwatering. We keep coming back and it doesn’t disappoint. Reasonable prices for high quality produce. Meat was amazing.

Food was great but restaurant filled with smoke from faulty fireplace. Came home reaking if smoke as if had been at a bonfire. Not pleasant

We have been many times with family and friends and the food and service is outstanding every time. Highly recommend it for dinner and now breakfast!!

Stray Neighbour has a limited menu but the food is of a high quality, the atmosphere is great and the staff are very attentive the beer list is comprehensive and the wine list is adequate.

Steak night and the steak was cold but still tasty and quality cut, salad is over priced iceberg lettuce. Friendly wait staff, overall an average experience.

food and service is excellent. The fireplace is a bit smelly in there and does affect some people whilst they are eating and chatting to others
