A fantastic night with a great mix of food and service. Will definitely be going back. The creme brûlée was unbelievable and the ricotta doughnuts weren’t bad either 😀

Stray Neighbour has amazing food and staff!!! The environment is friendly, bar like and great for inner Melbourne North, adults, youngsters and kids as well.

Music was that loud that as a table of 4 we were barely able to hear each other . A shame as the food was good but won’t go back the ambience was unpleasant

I love the layout of this restaurant and bar, several different spaces for different occasions and moods. Great wine list. The food was average however and some of it overpriced! $32 for a gristly porterhouse with nothing more than a hand full of hand cut chips and a sauce was a bit ridiculous. The pork schnitzel was decent though, as too was the pate. The croquettes were tasty but needed a dipping sauce or aioli. Bonus points for the free pool tucked away in the corner for some late night entertainment.

The Stray Neighbour has a great vibe, delicious and well presented food and tremendous service. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our family and friends.

Cool place, amazing food and great service. $20 steaks on a Thursday too. Must try the croquettes if you like cheese. So yum! Will be back

Beautiful restaurant. The food was amazballs. The tables weren't crammed together which is awesome. The Pavlova cocktail was to die for. Definitely going back. Had the slow cooker lamb shoulder was the best I've ever had.

Amazing food, my partner is a vegetarian and they catered just for her and the chef gave her a complimentary deep fried pickles definitely would come back

Overall loved the food. Ran out of a few beers I requested at 7pm with a not too many people in the place. Would still head back though

Great service from floor and kitchen staff! They were very helpful accomodating my dietary needs and explaining menu ingredients. The delicious cocktails were a bonus too!

Friendly staff, beautiful food, very good selection of local beers. Nice atmosphere. Great place. It was also lovely to see an absolutely immaculately clean kitchen when you walked past the pass.

The Feed Me option is perfect for a meal shared between friends. Every time I’ve dined at Stray Neighbour the variety, quality and quantity of dishes have surpassed expectations. Great customer service and relaxed and friendly atmosphere is also notable.

Amazing food, great service and funky venue that plays cool tunes. Would highly recommend visiting here either as a local or if visiting Melb as a tourist. Worth it.

Sides very small for the price & steak not that good......not very tender at all & for $36 you'd expect a lot better. Very disappointing!!

Always yummy food and a great atmosphere Unfortunately the menu options were more limited than usual, with some dishes unavailable, but I guess that’s a sign they’re delicious, and had sold out!

Really great experience at Stray Neighbour...Cool design and the place was packed with an interesting variety of people, great drinks, amazing service and the food was DELICIOUS, I highly recommend the croquettes and asparagus AMAZING......

Great atmosphere and meals where top notch great variety of drinks to choose from the only thing I will say is maybe there needs to be a few more choices on the menu apart from that 10/10

Excellent food. Short menu ensures quality and freshness. Drinks reasonably priced and friendly bar service. If you place your trust in the hands of the chef you will be well rewarded by the 'feed me' option.

The restaurant was very noisy, it was steak night and there was a large party celebrating a birthday. Service was attentive, steak delicious, but side vegetables were over cooked and expensive.

Beautiful food and scrumtious cocktails, great way to celebrate after work drinks and birthday drinks. Will definitely be returning soon and giving the pool table a spin.

The four of us were blown away by the experience, having only been to SN previously for beer events and occasional beer and pool, the experience of dining was a 10/10 in service, atmosphere, food and wine. This will become a regular for us, dont go changin'.

Food was great service was ok 2 different staff spilt drinks over our table because the tables that were put together were uneven. The acoustics were bad and my friends & I couldn't hear each other
