We come here very often. It's a great place, small and cosy, sometimes a little noisy but never too much so, the host is so sweet and welcoming, wait staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. The food is fresh, delicious and filling. Can't go wrong at the Sumeshiya 😎

Service was excellent and super quick despite it being Valentines Day. The food is super tasty. My favourite (still is) the Yuzu Hamachi. Be sure to book a table because it’s always busy.

Menu seems to have chsnged, not as extensive and waay too much garlic on beef tataki dishes. service was a luttle awkward with a bug gap between dishes.

As always a truly delicious meal with good service but the noise levels from some tables made it difficult to communicate and enjoy the lovely dinner. Your food is outstanding and we particularly LOVE your Soft Shell Crab. Thank you too for the service, always polite and timely.

This is an amazing little Japanese restaurant in our local neighbourhood. The food is fabulous, authentic, well presented and flavoursome. Service polite and attentive without being intrusive. The pricing is very reasonable - approx. $30 - $35 per person. This is great value for quality dinning.
