Second time here ! Food was out of this park! Service really good! Tuna tataki incredible! Udon was also amazing! Will definitely be back! Be sure to book a table! Place was booked out on a Wednesday!

Service was excellent and super quick despite it being Valentines Day. The food is super tasty. My favourite (still is) the Yuzu Hamachi. Be sure to book a table because it’s always busy.

Menu seems to have chsnged, not as extensive and waay too much garlic on beef tataki dishes. service was a luttle awkward with a bug gap between dishes.

Always an enjoyable experience here. Friendly staff and tasty, fresh food. My favourite sushi place to go to. The kingfish, salmon, tuna, scallops and eel are my favourite!

As always a truly delicious meal with good service but the noise levels from some tables made it difficult to communicate and enjoy the lovely dinner. Your food is outstanding and we particularly LOVE your Soft Shell Crab. Thank you too for the service, always polite and timely.

This is an amazing little Japanese restaurant in our local neighbourhood. The food is fabulous, authentic, well presented and flavoursome. Service polite and attentive without being intrusive. The pricing is very reasonable - approx. $30 - $35 per person. This is great value for quality dinning.

A regular dinner spot for us and it didn’t disappoint. No room for walk ins thanks to being fully booked. I’m not normally a huge salmon sashimi fan but it was buttery and really fresh - I could split it easily with my chopsticks without meaning to. The Yuzu Hamachi is a must! Pay cash and save some money on transaction fees.

Yumi's service is always great. Though we've only been a couple of times but she remembered my son's allergy. Welcomimg us all the time. and of course enjoyed the food.

We always enjoy our meals at Sumeshiya as there’s such a huge variety, it’s fresh and so tasty ! We also love that we can hear each other in the restaurant ;) The staff also try really hard to make our experience seamless by being friendly, efficient and respectful.

Amazing food and excellent service! I really enjoy the una don bowl and the tuna sashimi just melts in your mouth. BYO is extremely convenient.

We were extremely impressed and satisfied with the service, food quality, and value for money at this restaurant. The staff were very accommodating to all of our requests which can be tricky for a large group booking of 10. Thank you for a great night! We will be back.
