We had a really great night. The food and service was terrific. We had a table near the tandoor area and was able to see the 2 chefs at work. The quality of the food was top knotch and the flavours were spot on. My favourite was the garlic prawns cooked in the tandoor. Even my partner said the same and he doesn't normally enjoy prawns.

Tandoori Den is an icon and never falters in flavoursome good food

The food and service were fantastic as always. The noise level was not too bad. There was a large party of men in the restaurant and they were a bit noisy at times, but not to the point where you needed to complain. You take your chance when booking midweek so we were not bothered. We love Tandoori Den.

Have been going there from time to time for over 40 years - always come away satisfied having enjoyed a lovely meal!

Tandoori Den is always nicely set and pleasant to dine in. It is now my family's favourite restaurant. All dishes are delicious and service is great.

This is a long running excellent Indian restaurant in Camberwell. One of my favorites and I keep going back..

The food here is always excellent. Curries range from mild to very spicy depending on your taste. Nan and meats done in the Tandoor oven are the very best in Melbourne. Service is friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed.

Very authentic Indian restaurant. A little pricey due to the setting, atmosphere of the restaurant but the food was very nice. Tandoori chicken was marinated very well We also ordered butter chicken and fish curry (with coconut milk). The butter chicken was a little on the sweet side but still taste authentic. The green salad was only raw cucumber, carrot and tomato, which was not so value for the money we paid. Total meal with 1 rice & 1 plain naan: 91$

The service is always spot on, super attentive. The food is fantastic, great quality ingredients and so well executed. The lamb with eggplant special curry is a must, but so is the saag paneer and the dal, and then there’s the wonderful garlic naan!!

We have been there over the years and quality may have dropped a bit. We were hoping for excellent food - instead we got good food. Rate food 6-7 out of 10. Bit pricey for what you get. Salad serving is tiny, raita a bit small, roti tiny.

We made a reservation so it was easy seating. It does get busy (Which means a bit noisy and not as spacious) but that’s because it’s a great restaurant

Acoustic engineer required urgently, the noise levels are terrible. Makes the dining experience unpleasant because you cannot hear across the table.

The fact that you asked if there were any special requests were not acknowledged by the waiter as considered at all. Service was slow and I had to flog down the waiter several times. They seemed understaffed, with only two apparent waiters for the entire restaurant.

My wife and I are regulars at the Tandoori Den as the food is consistently great and service fast. We both had the mixed entree, beef vindaloo and tandoori chicken masala, peas pulao and chilli paratha; fantastic as always. Highly recommend for couples or groups.

Authentic Indian cuisine great family atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.

Food is always very good. WIne overpriced.$11.50 for a glass of wine that’s is $15 a bottle in retail outlets. Service friendly but sometimes a bit slow. Didn’t get our drinks until meal was served. But a pleasant restaurant and consistently good food so always return.
