Love it. Been there a few times now and enjoy it every time.

It was amazing food and cheap. Super quick and freshly made.

So well priced for delicious dumplings - fresh and tasty. Quick service so in and out but a great local!

Very tasty, fresh food. Prices are reasonable & yet the Camberwell restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, unlike many other eateries that charge similar prices. Plenty of parking & PT nearby. Popular with families, so very busy on a Saturday night - book ahead! Service is cheerful but variable in quality. We have been there several times & find it consistently good & always full of customers. And you can BYO wine.

Great food in a casual atmosphere and great value for money

We ordered the hot and sour soup, chicken and prawn dumplings, xiao long pau, prawns and eggplant and they were all delicious. This was our 4th or 5th time there but my guests, who were visiting the restaurant for the first time, were very impressed with the food and the decor of the place.

Been here twice before. Good. Tonight...awful. Service was appalling. Had to ask for it numerous times. Used dishes were left on the table for 45 mins and were still there when we left. Won’t be back. The girl who took our food order was lovely. Need to employ more staff.

We had a reservation so was seated quickly. I would say bookings are essential Saturday night because they are always busy and packed and there is always a line waiting for a table. A bit noisy but as I mentioned, it was packed so not a lot they can do about that. Food is great and amazingly priced, 2 mains, an entree, 3 bowls of rice, and tea for 3 people came to about $60 which I think is great especially as we could have easily had a fourth serving from the amount of food. We’ve had dumplings and a few of the mains and both are really good. Definitely recommend Tao’s!
