Smack bang in the thick of the action in Sydney’s Haymarket, opposite Central, Thai Hot Pot offers up an experience – and a price – like very few others you’ll find in the city. Handily located on George Street south of Chinatown proper and incredibly good value, Thai Hot Pot is about the only place you’ll find authentic Thai mookata hot pot (replete with the most aromatic, perfectly seasoned simmering broths you could hope for) in buffet style along with an impressive spread of sushi and other lunch-friendly choices, ideal for city workers or those looking for a quick, affordable but delicious lunch from whole grilled soba to fried rice, crispy gyoza dumplings to glass noodle salad. If you’re with a group and lining up dinner, however, you can’t go past the hot pot buffet experience, a fun feast of whatever fresh vegetables, seafood, meat and dipping sauces you can dream up. Thai Hot Pot is well worth a visit, but it’s well worth booking because you rarely catch them on a quiet day!
Hot pot does not have much variety of ingredient. Its not worth to have hot pot but having lunch for $14.90 is better. Will return for lunch special only in the future
