Get stuck into some thorough Thai Rim Nam action, right by the water (the name means ‘water’s edge’) at the entrance to southern Sydney’s Como Marina and next to the Como Pleasure Grounds. With such a verdant setting, it’s only natural that this Thai restaurant has laid on a stunning garden dining area, perfect for a big shared banquet with a selection of delicate, flavoursome dishes served with bowls of fragrant jasmine rice. First-timers are advised to test the temperature at Thai Rim Nam by turning to the chef’s specials, making a meal out of entrees like the grilled scallops with king oyster mushrooms and chilli mayonnaise and crispy soy-sauced duck breast with spicy chilli sauce. Not satisfied with just eating Southeast Asian-style? Head to the gift shop next door and take home a more enduring souvenir.
All round wondeful dining experience, great food, friendly service, atmosphere, warm welcoming and value for money. Good range of meal selection items and Chef's specials all served with unique flavours and sauces.
Best quality Thai food eaten ever, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff ! Very broad choice of dishes, the chef's specials are delicious. And it's BYO, prices very affordable.
Some of the best Thai we have had......ever. Food was served quickly and the the staff were friendly. We are definitely coming back for more.
Nice suburban Thai restaurant. Good food and friendly staff. Had the banquet which was a lot of food and good value. No problems catering to gluten free diners
great food and service. had the pork belly entree which had delcious sauce and perfect crisp; and the pad see ew and massaman curry which were both fresh and the meat was so tender. lovely views and garden.
The food tasted fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient and didn't show any concern that we remained the only table in the restaurant until late. My only criticism was the large amount of garlic in my dish which is unusual for Thai food.
Great food - little bit chilly for a winter night however the staff are attentive and the location is lovely. Recommend it for anyone looking for a good Thai in a local spot easy to park and easy to hear each other speak
Always great food in a great location. We had the deep-fried barramundi for the first time. Its presentation was amazing, rather artistic. Would have liked a bit more flesh to eat but the vegetables and sauce that it was served with were delicious.
Great service and the food was beautiful. Very authentic Thai flavours and the meat in the massaman curry was so tender it just melted in your mouth. Our banana and sticky rice dessert was delicious.
The menu had a lot of variety and speciality dishes and our selection were all delicious. The decor made you feel like you were away on holidays. It was a lIttle pricey but a great night out to share with friends...
