What could be better than coffee, flowers and cake? Well, very little, actually. Established in 2015, The Blooming Baristas know exactly what’s required to put smiles on faces. This is a charming little Melbourne cafe with a new breakfast and lunch menu, and while the Fairfield area sees many cafes come and go, we’re sure this one is here to stay. Try some smashed avo with feta cheese, eggs on toast (done how you like), or the beetroot cured Blooming salmon, served on a pikelet with poached eggs and a lemon & dill cream cheese. The cafe itself – to be found on Railway Place right opposite Fairfield train station – is cosy and inviting, with a leafy seating area and sandpit out back. You’re going to love it.
