Loved the revamped Bourbon!!! I have t been here since it’s old glory days and it has changed so much (for the better!). The lamb cutlets were delicious, the live music was fantastic and it was a great location in the centre of the Cross. Loved it!

We had a group of 20 and the staff need more training. They had most of the orders wrong. Forgot an order. Was very confused when we were ordering one by one. Had issues with us picking up our own cutlery from the public area where the cutlery was stored but didn't give us enough either. Not a good experience for a nice place.

Ignored for 5 minutes then literally got the roll of the eyes when we said we’d book, told, find yourself a table. Eventually a waitress took us to an outside table that was awful. The pub was not only crowded but noisy with the added deterrent of a singer (a very bad one too) performing. Given no menus so we left. Don’t go here, it’s not what it once was, in fact the whole of the cross is now almost derelict

Music was a bit too loud in the restaurant part. You couldn’t have a normal conversation.

Quality of food was really bad. We ordered steaks (medium rare) but both of them were clearly well done. Don’t order steaks here.

Was quite which was a bonus. Staff were friendly, atmostphere was nice (although a little dark) and they had an acoustic singer there which was lovely. not too loud so could still talk but created a really nice vibe

Nice cocktail, good food, ambiance is a little bit dreary inside, if they have opened up the bar and inside seatings to the outside seating, it would have been more lively

We were hoping for a quiet dinner before our theatre visit. Unfortunatley, they had loud live music. This was at 5.30pm! It would be better if the music had started from about 8.30pm. The steak was fine, and the accompanying vegetables were good.

We often dine at the Bourbon, great place, good food, great music, comfortable seating, reasonable prices! I recommend the Bourbon for a casual, pre Hayes Theatre venue.

Karaoke and steak are good. Excellent bar and nice music. Salad is super nice taste. Places are safe but some drinkers there. We would like to go there again.

Queuing at the bar formfood or drink is never my favourite thing. Food quite good, reasonably priced. Recorded music way too loud. Live music, 1 guy with guitar pretty good. Inside could use an update.

A nice and clean restaurant, with a friendly and helpful staff. There was live entertainment from a band, as requested we were seated in a back section so we had room for the kids.

It was okay. However, it was ashame that you could not swap food options without paying extra. I ordered the steak and instead of chips I would of preferred mash. However, for mash you had to pay an extra $8 on top of the $45 steak. you could get 5 steaks down the road for the cost of this one steak with mash. It was very disappointing! this was a let down.

Another delightful meal - the food at the Bourbon is perfection. This chef sure knows how to cook a steak! Excellent service and incredibly reasonable prices. The 'live entertainment' is less intrusive in the restaurant but could still come down a notch or two. But that's a suggestion, not a complaint.

Food superb. Service a little slow but totally forgivable as they were so busy (with good reason - popular!). If you have an event to go to, add 30-40 mins to enjoy a leisurely munch on some of the best priced, delicious dishes in the area.

Four steaks, three cuts of meat/sauces. All fries not mash. Cooked wrong. Service delightful, and apologetic but inordinate wait. Usually 6/6. Bad night? Hope so!

Delicious burgers! Would definitely recommend the Cuban and the Buttermilk chicken. Beers and ciders are decently priced, and the location is great. Sitting outside is a nice atmosphere.
