Great service, great food and gorgeous set up! Worth a visit.

Had lunch in one of the booths - fabulous for 7 of us, then took our coffees to the rooftop - wow! Everything looks great - the attention to detail is obvious (the funky sink tap & hand dryer, the artwork, the booths, lighting). Will definitely return.

For a counter order service model it was easy to do, no queue and good service. Waiting times were also fine. Only criticism was the noise level, but it wasn't too bad given it was 2/3 full

The prices you charge for meals - too much. OK, we go up to the counter to order them but PLEASE don’t make patrons collect them considering the charge incurrent for the meals. There should be table service. The cocktails in rooftop ESS should be served in cocktail glasses not large whisky glasses. The gas heaters should be distributed so when a group comes or a couple there’s access for them to use one. Despite seeing a few wait staff walking around and checking for glasses, not one offered a gas heater to be placed near where we sat on a cool night. We let afternoon one drink.

Good new hotel in Macquarie Park. Needs to calibrate air conditioning. Great gluten free options.

Friend of mine and I have visited very first time and ordered Vegetariana Pizza, Oven baked broccoli & cauliflower etc. It was so yummy and quality food. I'll visit again.

We were celebrating our 53rd Wedding Anniversary & decided to dine at The Governor. It was my husbands first visit & my second & we thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere & friendly service. My only concern is the limited parking.

Attended for the themed trivia upstairs the food menu is very small and overpriced, mc was very loud. Had a great time at the event but won’t be spending money on food and drink anytime soon

Seating arrangements were poor. Never going back again over rated and too expensive

Excellent atmosphere, but the food selection range wasn't too great. We have ordered beef bowl & pizza (italian job). The bowl was just ok, but the pizza wasn't so good - it wasn't even cooked properly. I wouldn't order the pizza in the future...

No one gave us menus for our table - staff were nice

Initially I had trouble making a restaurant reservation on my PC as your website wanted me to turn on Cookies for my Google login to work. I refuse to do this so that was annoying. I was able to make the reservation on my iPhone and when we arrived only 30 mins later, I was impressed that the staff knew of the reservation and simply took us to the table. Impressive use of technology...

Restaurant prices without table service. We ordered entrees and mains, it all came at once! Food was reheated, as it was cold in the centre, hot on the side and really hot plate. Overall not a great experience, unfortunately.

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. The menu was fantastic, will definitely need to come back and try and few more. We will definitely be back!

It was my third time back to The Govenor last night. You know they must be doing something right when every plate is completely empty every single time. Excellent food! We’ll be back!

It is a good hotel and was quiet crowded as it was a Saturday evening, we got the parking inside, but really the parking needs to be a bit more bigger than the current one. Food was good but there is one suggestion that I would like to give. If you get more halal meat (like beef and lamb as well) then the halal options will be more and you gather a much bigger customer base. I hope your management will consider my suggestions

I REALLY enjoyed my meal last night. I have been to this establishment a few times now and it never disappoints. I am looking forward to my next visit. Great food and excellent bistro service.

With a big group, it would be good to have table service to take the food orders only.

Since bistro was full, we went to the rooftop. Better atmosphere though some areas could be cleaner. Staff were friendly. Food was good!

Staff were so welcoming and helpful. The security guards were also very nice helping with directions for parking and greeting and farewelling very politely with a big smile on their face.

More parking needed. Not as up market as the web site makes it out to be. Nice decor and food was good.
