The Groove Train at North Lakes never disappoints! Beautiful atmosphere and the food is was very tasty and filled my craving. Will definitely go back for a lovely meal again.

I rate the service, food and the overall experience very highly. The prices are fair for food and drinks. The service was very quick and the overall night was fantastic.

Went there for my birthday and was really disappointed. Food was gross, felt immediately ill afterwards. There was something in my glass of drink and didn't notice until I'd almost finished. Told a staff member who said she'd tell the manager but the manager had no clue about it. Told the manager as we payed that we won't be coming back and were disappointed seeing as it was my birthday and he merely took the drinks of our tab. He asked if we finished our meal to which we said yes, he said there must of been an issue with the food if we finished it all, we told him twice that we can't afford much and we can't afford to leave food seeing as it's expensive. Another couple complained before us and it seemed to go straight through one ear and out the other. Don't recommend at all, much regret and really disappointment.

Food was just ok, wait staff seriously need training and cocktails were watered down. We are in no rush to return. Not as nice as the last time.

Poor service delayed meals and forgot kids desert. On leaving guy at payment did not really care and try and address the issue. Would not go back

Food was great, staff were friendly but area was a little crowded though not busy. Could have placed people in other areas to help them feel they had more space.

requested inside table ended up outside in the heat and flies. Service slow ,left to wonder when wait person would come back to order more drinks

Very pleasant surroundings, excellent quality food. We had 2 of the pizzas and 1 chicken wok noodles. Plenty of choices on the menu and the food was delicious. Minimum time for the food to be served. Wait staff very helpful and we had a great meal.

Kitchen staff had a off day. Drinks and greeting staff were on point. Wait staff was new and enter incorrect meal into computer. Was offered a free drink to counter the ordinary meals. All in all a disappointing outing. We will still go back as all other times have been fine.

My wife's meal came out 10 mins later than everyone else's and her Bolognese was very watery and tasteless she was to proud to complain but overall the service was good and the waiting staff were very friendly

Terrible service, the chicken meals were so over cooked it was inedible (even after returning them they came back much the same). Never get the Red wine Sangria. Never go there!!!

We arrived at the Groove Train for dinner first time experience we were met by friendly courteous and very helpful, location was great as the restaurant was only meters from the escalators down from the roof top parking, great view and near the night time entertainment and the food was not only delicious but the servings were large feeling very satisfied also went well with a cold ale and cocktail for the wife , prices I thought were quite good as well Jeff & Jenny

The meal was inedible; they offered to remake it but one of the staff informed us that we weren't the first to comment about this menu item. Disappointing that we still paid full price for it. Wait staff were friendly

We had a lovely dinner last night at Groove Train in North Lakes. The staff were very friendly and the Mixed Grill plate was very generous and the steak and lamb were both med rare which was perfect for us, and paired perfectly with The Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz.

Most enjoyable night- service was excellent and staff knew the dishes on menu. Food was delicious & timing was great. First time here & will definitely be back

Good location service and food excellent easy parking. Only criticism I’d have is tables too close together so lacks intimacy and privacy. But definitely go again

Was an amazing expereince, Food was well prepared and enjoyable. Wasn't too long but also wasn't too quick between the starters and mains. Service was great and they were always looking to ensure our food was good.

It has been over a year since my previous (very pleasant) visit to Groove Train and so I suggested my family go there to celebrate my mum's birthday. Therefore, it was disappointing to discover that their quality of food had diminished somewhat. While I don't mind paying for a quality dish, I felt in this case that the price did not reflect the meal (with some exceptions of course - there were 8 of us so would say 20% of the dishes served were quite good). Also, while the waitstaff were very pleasant and helpful when serving, they did seem somewhat distracted with trivial tasks over waiting on their customers.

The atmosphere was fantastic. We were seated outside next to a tree which was lovely and there was live music playing outside as well which was very nice. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and checked to see if we were happy with our meals. Overall, the experience was a very positive one and I would not hesitate going back there.

Quick service, friendly staff and a great menu. Massive amount of choices with lots of options for those with allergies or intolerances. Can't recommend highly enough.

As always, a fantastic meal that is tasty and quite reasonably priced. The service is unreal, the staff are all friendly and have great attention to detail. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Moreton Bay region.

Great service good food Garlic bread bit funny tasted like garlic salt not real garlic but mains nice risotto very creamy and tasty fried wok chicken not a lot of flavour but eatable

Very friendly staff, great food every plate was cleaned up. Chocolate mousse was too die for. Expresso martini very delicious, definitely recommend to everyone to try.

Sitting with sun on back of head not pleasant - had to move, but someone else then had the problem. Needs moveable shading. Food very ordinary - pleasant but not special. Nice location but could do better.

Lovely food but prices are expensive for very small servings. Had Moroccan lamb and $26.00 FOR a cup of rice and 6 tiny pieces of meat is ridiculous

The food was very good and well cooked and a very fresh salad as an accompaniment. The wait staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful.

Food was okay. Service could've been better and food couldve been better. Decided to have dinner here for my birthday. Waiter took their time to take our order and prices were quite high for the quality of the meals. My son had the kids tropical wood fire pizza and it seemed like it couldve been cooked longer as the dough was still white. My meal of the coubtry southern chicken burger was good although it was quite spicy and wasn't mentioned in the description. Entree was also pricy for what it was. Garlic and olive oil wood fire pizza. Tasted horrible but to add cheese would've costed $15.

Food was great, service was great and it was my birthday so I got a free meal. I also had a couple of friends who are celiac and it was great to see some gluten free choices for them.

No record at Groove Train of our on line reservation ( from comments made it appears this is not the first time) and luckily we were still able to be seated immediately. Food was generally of an acceptable standard and our guest was very happy with his steak but I found there was insufficient meat on my dish. Staff obliging and attentive and apologized for booking error. The restaurant was busy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves and this created a good atmosphere.

Poor meal and very long wait time service was very average also definitely do not recommend groove train at north lakes. Meal prices were very high for quality of food definitely need Gordon Ramsey to go through the place

Good food. Just a little forgetful with orders. They need to right the full order not in short hand. Missing sauces , only small things.
