The Groove Train – North Lakes

Food was fantastic and enjoyed by all. Service was a little slow - had to keep calling someone over to order drinks. Otherwise a great night.

Nice place. Good atmosphere. Food was ok. Not the best i have had but good enough for an enjoyable night. I booked on weekend to ensure a table.

As always they never disappoint! 7 of us went out for wify's birthday and had a lovely time. I tried the Vegie Burger and it was fantastic, usually go for the gnocchi but was able to tast that as wifey got that. That was also fantastic. Definitely one of the best places to dine in North Brisbane.

Staff nice but table we were given was right outside near all the loud music, couldn't hear each other to talk. Calamari was not good.

food was great, service was a bit hard to get at times. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor was great. Thanks so much for the night

Food tasted lovely, but portion size was quite small and needed to include more than three pieces of chicken to be called a chicken salad. Rather disappointing!!!!!!

Lovely service lovely food very quick service also however being constantly asked if everything's ok or if we need everything isn't as polite as you may think and it gets so annoying when you have to stop eating to answer when your trying to relax

The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really relaxing. I went for a birthday celebration for my daughter and the staff let me take a birthday cake and brought it out for dessert with the candles lit and plates for us to use at no extra charge. This is the second time that I've been to this restaurant and I can't speak highly enough of my experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Had to remind about two different times for soft drinks and waited awhile to pay bill. Our meals were really delicious on all 4 meals

We had a lovely lunch for Fathers Day. It was a bit too sunny at first but great service as staff were able to move us.

I've had good food there in past experiences. Service was reasonable, the wait fir food was about 50 mins and some of food was lukewarm.

Food is great. Noise level is problematic, when restaurant is busy, inside is very noisy. If a large amount of patrons are seated inside everyone tries to talk over the too loud music which results in people talking even louder to be heard, result even more noise. Water provided tasted of Chlorine or some reason. Not sure if it was the water itself or the glass. Staff are friendly and provide good service.

Ordered a Club Sandwich, I received a burnt lettuce Sandwich with cold chicken. My Strawberry Cocktail tasted like Sugar Syrup & was undrinkable. Service was great, but meal was ordinary.

Lovely food on our girls night out. Large servings and a lovely waitress. Would definitely go back again. Groove Train has a great atmosphere too.

It was well presented, staff were nice. But it was a high price to pay for extremely mediocre food. Won't be returning, neither will my friends

Lovely meal and atmosphere, we have been there several times and each time we haven't been disappointed. Quick service and food is always good. Will go again no doubt.

Great food as always & a friendly, vibrant eating experience. Recommended to others. Some meals a little pricy but in this day and age that's commen.

We had a great time. Staff were very tentative and food was delish! It was so warm with the heaters outside. Atmosphere was lovely. Will definetly return.

Awesome service, great tasting food at reasonable prices. Groove Train at North Lakes is one of the most family friendly dining experience and they are alwats great with the kids.

Once again another fantastic meal and if you sign up for the Groove Train club, they will give you a free meal to the value of $25 for free on your birthday!

Food was good but overpriced for the size of the meal. We were surprised to hear that bills couldn't be split as this confused the kitchen staff! Didn't seem to have many staff on for a Friday lunch either...had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee.

It was a great atmosphere, the food was nice, but the salt shaker produced too much salt, in turn having 2 of our tables meals ruined due to the salt crystal crunching and over-salted taste. wouldn't recommend the bolognaise but the carbonara and hokien noodles were great, along with the garlic pizza! Service was good, meals maybe a little pricey? But overall a nice evening. :-)

Friendly staff, very attentive. Food was well presented and very tasty and came out in a timely manner. Atmosphere was really buzzing. Great night was enjoyed by all in my party.

Good menu selection, quality of meals OK and service better than average. Venue very pleasant but busy so make sure you book. Overall a pleasing experience

Great friendly service. The food was mostly good. A few dishes were a little bland, but overall it was a good night,with a great atmosphere.

Greeted as soon as we arrived and glad we booked for breakfast seeing it was Mother's Day. Friendly staff and presentation of food fabulous. Only negative was size of pancakes, very small portion and ice cream could of been bigger in size being an extra cost.

The food was awesome, the speed of the food coming to the table was the same, the staff were friendly, definitely going back for more!

Goove Train North Lakes had wonderful service, good atmosphere & fantastic food that was really good. Only criticisms are some tables are too close to other people eating & the starters though nice are over priced for what you get.

Service was good. They did not receive the booking though. I got a confirmation later in the night after we left? But they fit us in. The food was average. I have had better at other Groove Trains.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious and there is a variety of meals on the menu. Something to suit everyone. The staff were very attentive.

The experience was pretty average. Need more staff to cover table. I had to find staff to take our order. There were a couple of staff just chatting in the corner. Not good when you have a full restaurant. Also, one our meals had a hair in their food. My salad had too much dressing in so was very wilted. Need to have where you can take split bills too.

The Groove Train at North Lakes, was a wonderful dining experience. It was a nice environment, with good staff who were attentive to our needs as customers. Would happily dine there again. Food and service were amazing.

Good value food the burgers were so nice and staff friendly. There was a desert menu it was a shame we weren't offered it. However just opposite there is a churro place that was really good.

Lovely food as always! Great friendly service and the food came out pretty quick. The restaurant aroma was relaxed and quiet, we had a fantastic night as always. Thank you Groove Train for a lovely evening.
