Enjoyable evening. Prompt service. Good ‘pub’ food. One suggestion. Please add fresh grilled fish to the menu again. It can’t be that hard surely? You have a new chef, I’m sure he could do it? The Local used to do amazing grilled barramundi but it disappeared about 12-15 months ago yet it’s still a featured picture on the booking page menu. With thanks, Anna

I have enjoyed a meal with my husband and our friends a few times at The Local. We took our little dog with us recently and sat outside no dramas. Each time The food is fresh, served in adequate time to enjoy a drink or coffee and menu is varied and amazing. Staff are efficient and friendly and best of all good value and great location opp park and beach. $30 p person glass of wine and coffee included. Thanks to the local a great afternoon spent

We walked past The Local one day and thought it had a good vibe and decided we would try it out the following week for dinner as we had been trying to find a new place to go locally. We weren't disappointed. The space is great and the staff are excellent, friendly and on the ball. I recommend the Margaritas, they certainly don't skimp on the alcohol like some places and all their cocktail prices are very reasonable. They have cheap options on the food menu which is always a good thing if you don't want to spend too much. All in all a great night and we will definitely be going back.

Great service but the strawberry dacqui was not an adult slushie as described - it was not even blended, no ice at all

It’s ok, but a few months back before Corona it was a special place. Happy hours were good and the odd musician was nice. Maybe it is everywhere these days but I don’t feel special there anymore!
