The Riverton Bar and Grill

We go surf and turf + chicken and turf. Vegtablew were still raw and meat was over cooked. First time in six months partner and I have gone out with out kids and for the price it was a total let down. Worker was reaching behind me as we ate our starters to stack wood wasn’t impressed.

Live music and dancing along with quickly served, good quality food. It was an excellent evening and shall be repeated...

We had a table of 4,the place was full because it was a Elvis night but the service was very good even though they were so busy,the owners put on the evening free of charge,we really enjoyed our evening,i do think a partition at the front door to stop the cold wind entering would help ,we had to move tables because of this.Apart from that we all had a good time.

Great night and a fabulous catch up with old friends. The Riverton is a great place for a drink and the food is awesome.

Food was delicious - can highly recommend the Chicken Laksa - staff are really friendly. Not our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!

Tried their 500g Ribeye, it was cooked perfectly. Having a table near the Kids outdoor area was perfect for the young ones.

June booking - Was sat in the “outside” area & it was cold. Service was fast to order entrees and drinks then after waiting 20 + minutes had to chase a waiter to order mains. Due to cold wind we left without ordering desserts or coffees.

I always enjoy going here, it’s my local and love having somewhere nice to go. Service was great. I ordered the surf and turf with scotch fillet medium but it was well done unfortunately. I felt also there was too much mash. The other meals were great. Looking forward to coming again for the Elvis night

Good food. Staff were friendly however we did not receive enough attention and found it hard to order more drinks. Also weren’t provided with any information about dessert. Nice location, a little noisy to chat to friends across the table (would be good to have the sports bar closed off) from the restaurant.

We booked a table. We sat for 20 minutes, nobody came to take our order for food or drinks. We wasn’t even offered water. It was obvious they were under staffed and struggling, so we left.

Live entertainment made talking in the restaurant difficult and cool draft was drifting in from outside eating area. Service, food and service to high standard.

We waited over 1 hr for our meals:-( Then when one of our meals came out the chicken was that dry we couldn’t cut it. No manager came out to apologise which was disappointing.

It's local so close to home. Which is great at this time of the year.

Extremely busy and noisy...more than two hour wait for any food and then each meal presented one at a time to the group, so some finished eating while others waiting. Offered complimentary drink in lieu of slow service which was appreciated. not the place if you are looking for a quiet and quick lunch on a weekend

Where do I begin...? Although the service was adequate, the Chicken Burger was underwhelming and not what the description entailed. Regarding the cocktails- unimpressed. The only good thing about this restaurant was the ultra High resolution TV’s and the chips. Will not be coming back here any time soon soon.

The food was good. Chairs were a little uncomfortable after sitting on them for a while. When paying by credit card there was small credit card surcharge.
