A nice meal and huge serves. Steak sandwich not as good as I expected. Fantastic for families with children and our grandchildren really enjoyed the face painting and balloon making. Great dining during the week as the children ate free.

Great ambiance, great location. Sadly the food did not live up to its expectations, Rib eye was overlooked, the vegetarian laksa was terrible, containing only noodles and cabbage with no flavour. We told the waitress this and was offered a free drink but was eventually refunded the laksa. We may come again but would like to see tables meal checked to avoid these experiences.

Angus surf and turf great, but salmon over done with only the option of rare to medium or well done. Any credible chef knows fish should never be over done. Wait staff weren't knowledgeable about the food. Didn't know what came with the pan seared salmon. Items on menu no longer offered, entree scallops and pork belly.

All diners really enjoyed their meals, they were very tasty.

SERVICE WAS GOOD THE FIRE BEHIND OUR TABLE A BIT HOT

We are not young so noise levels count. However service quick, friendly and efficient, husband has a garlic allergy, catered well, he was not ill. We were happy.

My husband ordered his steak cooked in rare, but come out is well cook, but they change it back to him a good one, my battered fish was soggy, it was a shame we can’t enjoy because today I celebrate my husband birthday.

Food was plentiful and tasty. A steak cooked wrongly was rectified without question. Overall a great evening and we will go back again.

Food was great but the service was a bit slow

One waiter was slightly rude but this was made up for by the fantastic service we received from another server. atmosphere and layout of the place was great. Table next to us was very loud but that's not the venue's fault.

Chicken Satay Salad was overpowered by vinegar dressing - could not taste or see any coriander. Friend sent her $40 steak back twice as she asked for medium and it came back twice still bleeding and the veggies were cold and rock hard. She then had to make her own dinner when she got home. The sizzling brownie plate was not even hot, no sizzle at all. certainly not work the $18

Please close/lock the playground at 5pm as stated on signage. We had children brushing past our chairs throughout our meal and when the gate was left open it was very cold and we had to get out of our seats and shut it every time. Won’t be sitting outside again!

Service was Excellent n yummy food. Best steak I've had in a long time. Free entertainment so what more can you ask for. Great night.

Myself and a few others were dissapointed with our meal, we ordered the beef cheeks and compared to the other meals that came out on our table they were a very small serving for the $34 we paid. The rest if our night was great

I eat here often with family and friends as I love the food, the menu is so varied and plentiful on the plate, and it is a great venue and just hits the right spot for the area. However on this last occasion the place was full and was very noisy. Service, whilst polite and friendly as always, was very slow and meant we had a fairly long wait for our meal. In the many times I have eaten at the "Rivo", this is the only time this has happened, so guess I should not eat there during the school holidays!

The food was excellent and there was plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. I had Pad Thai which was the best I've had anywhere.

Went to the Rivo for date night. Not my first visit. Previously was very happy. This time was a very busy Saturday night. Restaurant was very full. Was seated in the outer area. Comfortable with plenty of heaters keeping everyone warm. Wife was happy with her Red Curry. I was quite disappointed with my ribs. Were quite tough. Plenty of meat on them, but a little on the drier side making them not easy to cut or enjoy. Left half my large serving. We were seated near the children's play area. Very hard to enjoy a meal with children high pitched squealing in the background. Clearly parents were indoors making them out of mind - out of sight. I will return again, just not on a busy Saturday night and won't order the ribs. Will stick with the burgers that I previously enjoyed.

Food was yum, but waitress told us the dish my mum ordered wasn’t spicy at all but it was very spicy.
