we had a lovely lunch with really nice food and the service was great. Lovely surroundings the new owners have done a beautiful job with our new 'local'

Very loud and crowded, because it’s new, but they’ve squashed too many tables into the restaurant part inside. Couldn’t hear others on our table, a lot of noise comes out of the open kitchen area. Food is good but pricey, booze was expensive. The Bar side of the place looked good though.

Staff very attentive and friendly, however 1 catch of day "just" cooked while other perfect. Most meals weren't hot enough (except for laksa which turned out to be a noodle dish) - kept aside until all orders ready? Drink orders were slow and one didn't go through until reminded. A nice atmosphere though, staff were attentive, and we had an enjoyable dinner. We will return.

Very enjoyable lunch, service was friendly, the food excellent and the prices very affordable. Very happy that the Riverton Bar and Grill is off to such a great start.

Food was poor quality for price couldnt eat it didnt get what we ordered..wont be going back. Will say staff and atmosphere was good. Hope you improve,

Could not change the number of people attending on line (adding) on the day. Ran out of Rose wine, and could not add the tip to our total bill. Apart from that it was good.

Food was good but over priced. Was charged $16 for a lemon like and bitters when bill came. When pointed out to the waiter no apology

Disappointed that they had run out of two of the daily specials the NIGHT BEFORE and hadn't replenished them since then. The salad looked like the prepacked salad from Coles and the food was lukewarm.

First time there, service, atmosphere, food and amenities 10 out of 10, extremely good. The main disappointment was the noise. I think you need to hang some acoustic material in near the roof to stop the noise travelling. Apart from that, I love it, we will be back and it will be our local!!

Fantastic new restaurant. Service was excellent and prompt (we were eating within 20 minutes of arrival). Massive servings. Dont know what people were talking about no seperate bills as that was the first thing offered to us when we went to pay. Will go there again!

Make sure you specify if you want to sit inside - or you will be outside....also was told we could not order the full menu until after 5:30pm - that info should be readily available when making a booking

Friendly staff, disgusting food. Ordered lamb cutlet last night, unfortunately it was very fatty and over cooked that I couldn’t finish it. They must have kept the sizzler’s chef. Never go back there

It was busy, noisey and the service was a little slow. The food was average but not great. We would go back but at a quieter time. It would be nice to have a choice of inside or outside at time of booking.

As it was the 1st Sunday they were open. It was a very good indicator that things will only get better. Food and service was great. Will return. They were very busy and it will only get busier as the word gets out.

The service was really good and the food was very good the portion size was really good the staff were very friendly and happy to help great value for money it is a really nice place will come back again.

Had anticipated this place opening for ages since the High Rd was closed. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed on a few fronts. Meals a little pricey for what you got. Whisked plates away before we were finished eating. Charged CC surcharge. Desserts in Plastic disposable containers. Only real positive was our drinks were served without straws! It wasn’t bad but neither was it good or as expected/hoping for. Not returning in a hurry.

The food was very good and the service quick. There was not much choice for dessert so hope that will improve once they settle in.

Nice meal. Good service. Chairs uncomfortable. Not a very cosy atmosphere.seems like its been built / designed so they can get you in and out quickly,so they can make more money.

Fantastic evening with good friends complimented with great food & wine. Happy to have such a good local and we will definitely be back with the family soon.

Most of the food was good, the chips were not. They were not freshly cooked, they were over cooked and cold which made the overall plate of food look less appealing. Out of the six people we had one burger served cold and was taken away and microwaved but came back with fresh, hot chips which were so much better than the ones we all got served. Scotch fillet to be cooked very, very well done (even requested to have the steak butterfly cut) came out under cooked. The laksa, steak burger and the fish were all good (except the chips). Coffees were excellent and so were the drinks. The restaurant overall was nicely decorated but very noisey, we were lucky to have a table outside which was much better as you could here the conversation. The table service was fair although the order was taken efficiently and the wait person very helpful that’s were it ended, we never saw them again and we had to call over wait staff to ask if we could have coffees

Yep we enjoyed our first time there good service and good meals and good prices, great indoor/ outdoor restaurant relaxing atmosphere will definitely go back

Amazing customer service excellent food great atmosphere. Definitely a place to head to with friends. Will certainly be heading there regularly and impressed with the decor, well done

Yes but needs more seating in the bar side. Perhaps some more smaller bar tables. We had to stay at the bar which became uncomfortable. Otherwise great atmosphere and had a nice meal.

Dinner booked at 6pm for 8 of us. Restaurant wasn't busy yet. Seated at the table... waited waited waited waited.. Thought we would be asked if we wanted drinks to start.. Guess not... The young waiter in our area appeared to be ignoring us. Finally managed to get the attention of a wait person who could not take our order and went to find the young waiter... Neither friendly or offensive but unhelpful and not interested.. perhaps a lack of experience?? Food ordered and came out fast.. Great!! My chicken parmi was dry and chips stale. Pork ribs were dry and the heaps of sweet sauce didn't compensate.. chips stale. The Classic Cheese Burger was a bit small for the $$$ and again stale chips... Garlic prawns, good... Chicken Satay, no complaints... Very quick to clear the table... no offer for dessert.. The atmosphere and decore was great, disappointed with the table service and our food. Probably a good place to hang and have drinks but I would pass on meals...

Another great night at Riverton Bar and Grill. Brianna our waitress was amazing. So happy and friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful evening.

Only been operating for two weeks. They do great food in a comfortable setting. Food service was very quick. It’s great to finally have a local again.

Great appearance, atmosphere and a very varied menu which even the most discerning diner would find something on to treat their taste buds. Prices are good and staff are pleasant and efficient. I will be going again for sure.

We tried the Rivo bar and grill to celebrate our anniversary. We were given and outside table away from the main dining area where it was quite noisy . We experienced great service and excellent food! We will be back again.

The service was very good The meals were extremely overpriced for a suburban venue Ie Pad thai $27 !!!! Garlic prawns $34 !!!!!! Not even Australian product Atmosphere very sterile not as a good local should be The Parmi and Suzanne was over cooked and dry So much potential but overpriced No point in having large servings if not well cooked

I was excited to try the return of our local pub at the old Sizzler site. Great venue, awesome service but prices of food and drink are over-priced! Sports bar was wicked...never seen a TV so big! Overall I will be back but headed to the sports bar!

We waited over 1 hour after ordering for our food. Got 15 to 18 mussels for and the vegie burger of had 2 small bits of Halloumi and some onion and a serve of fries a pint of Swan a glass of Coke and a Chai latte for $75. Plus fee for using card.

Early days, has great potential for local bistro. Very good young staff. Seating a little congested. Menus could be larger in size. Worth a five.

Came in for Dinner on Sunday night, The food was to die for, the menu has a great selection, the service was amazing and will definatley go back again soon

Service was good. The meal was average. We ordered The Rivo Steak Sandwich which was lacking in flavour, however the chips were over seasoned. The tea was hot which was great. Would not hurry back for a meal though

Food was good. However, it needs to have more greens or vegetable on the main meal. Some meals do not even have any salad included. Not exactly a pub meal price. A bit pricey for a local tavern. It's a price of a mid to high-end restaurant.

Great new restaurant with very attentive and friendly service. Our meal was everything that we expected and served with a smile. We will definitely be back there for a meal and a drink in the very soon.

We visited Riverton Bar and Grill on Wednesday and we found the atmosphere fantastic. The service was outstanding. Great food and great people. Already booked in for our next dinner date.
