The Riverton Bar and Grill

We normally live this place but tonight we had a dreadful table - it was outside, drafty and we had to sit in a puddle. Service was great but my fathers pork belly was stone cold. Our burgers were amazing as always. It was a busy night and I felt they tried to cram too many people in.

My visit was very good, the people were extremely nice and the food was great however it took a while for the food to come out

Worst food and service. Did not finish our meals. Cheap ingredients used and no love or experience in the cooking or presentation.

Order was accurate, food came out all together, the original waitress that took our order seemed very impatient and unfriendly but the other servers after her were very pleasant and friendly, especially the bar guy that served us and fixed our wrong drink order. Chicken and steak was very over cooked and dry. Was a nice family meal in a pleasant atmosphere, the complimentary kids meals for weekday dining was a good touch.

Service and responsiveness to orders was excellent. Food good but prices slightly high so not quite the value for money expected. Open and noisy space so those with hearing difficulties might want to avoid.

We had a large group, the staff were friendly and efficient, the meals were inconsistent in quality with some meal good and some average.

Great atmosphere, food and décor, well worth the visit to eat

Excellent short wait times and food. Even though you have provided heaters in the outside area, it’s still a bit cold and this could be due to the glass without protection that makes the place cold and not very welcoming. I would like to see maybe lace curtains, subtle blinds or greenery to prevent passers by looking at us eating. The inside of the restaurant was warmer a bit noisy but absolutely fine for most people. Overall vibrant atmosphere and excellent friendly service- kudos to your amazing staff. Would love to visit again in summer 😊😊

We were waiting for the food so long, almost 50 mins. And cashier wasn’t friendly at all.

The service was absolutely terrible. The level of skill as waiters was abysmal. Only after I gave a serve to one of them as to what was wrong (there wasn’t 1 wait person in the entire half of a restaurant - and she agreed) did the service change. That was 20 minutes before we left. I watched someone eating in the kitchen?!? These are ABC’s in running a restaurant. I know because I opened the restaurant you replaced. The food was good. I wont be coming back.

Food took over 45 minutes to arrive. When it did arrive the steak was over cooked. Good portion sizes and good for just a quick pub feed!

I was looking forward to the pork ribs however too much sauce covered everything, it was too sweet, if the ribs had been baked with the sauce it would have been better. Also too much dressing on the salad and the chips went soggy with the rib sauce smothering them

Took a little while before our order was taken, but otherwise, food was delicious and they were generous portions. Floor staff are very friendly.
