The Shoe Bar and Cafe

The Shoe is a value for money, excellent bar. Menu choices are varied and tasty. For the reasons given, we go back time and time again.

Table was squeezed between others on the balcony. Not that comfortable Had one stool for a table of two QR code on the table for menu but not ordering Lines at the bar were crazy . Ordered sausage rolls - Mrs Macs? Disappointed Beef Burger was average- serving of chips was stingy Steak sandwich was good- also stingy on the chips Would probably just return to our local across the road..

Was a great place to meet before the footy and menu had great options, food was lovely.

I had booked a table in advance for a get together/ dinner with friends. On arrival there was no table allocated / reserved for us. We finally found a free table outside, however after 5 minutes were advised that table was reserved for another party. We left soon after this and had dinner elsewhere, however kind of put a dampener on our night. Pretty disappointed with this, as the Shoe is normally pretty good.

The staff was so friendly and the food was very fresh.

There was 7 of us going to a show at RAC at 7.30pm so we checked out the menu online and ordered as soon as we arrived. Food came quickly and we got to our show with plenty of time to spare. Thank you for being so prompt and everyone loved their choice of food!!

Always had great service here, friendly, fast and yummy food.

Only blemish was a chicken burger order for our table got lost in the rush and 1 of our people waited over 45mins for it. However, the staff we notified were great in sorting it quickly and bought us a drink to say sorry which was very nice. Overall really good and we'll be back. Mistakes happen and this one was sorted out really well which is most important.

I had the salt n pepper squid which I thought was a little tough. Others in the group didn't comment on their food. We thought the drinks were well priced. Will go again however. The acoustics inside aren't very good and quite noisey.

A great place but so busy but that was expected but very tight sitting upstairs, would have been better downstairs. Food and drinks were incredible. Loved it.

Our meals were great when they finally arrived. There seemed to be alot of mix ups with which orders belonged to which table and i could hear wait staff apologising to multiple tables. Our meals were given to the wrong table so another batch was made for us. It'll be a really great restaurant once they iron out this issue.

QR code would be good for food ordering as such a busy venue everyone queuing at the bar so difficult for even the waitresses to get passed everyone with the food, pizza was huge & really tasty

Fantastic, fun and busy atmosphere that caters for all tastes and sports. Ideal meeting place before or after a game or concert that is central to train & bus terminals. It is great to see and meet the owners of this venue who provide a very personalised, family atmosphere. Cheers to Paul, Jo and Jessie for their hard work and dedication to building and running this fantastic venue.
