Great place to grab a quick bite while in the city

Too noisy to talk at the table. Pretty squashy. Food was fabulous! Didn’t have some drink choices available.

Arrived and couldn’t even get to bar to let them know we had arrived, extremely busy and no staff to let know as dealing with many customers, so we left without eating.

We caught up with friends for a great fun lunch.

The noise level in the restaurant/ bar was unacceptable for a dinning experience. Couldn’t hear any conversations above the music and people shouting. Had to queue at the bar to purchase food. It was very busy. The food arrived pretty quickly. It was okay and the pricing reasonable. Not my type of dining experience.

Went for a drink/feed and to watch a football match- they set us up at a table with view of the tv and changed the channel for us to what we were after. There was a noisy Xmas party nearby so the staff offered to move us to the private function area and set up the match on the tv in there so we could hear the commentary, absolutely amazing service- thank you 🙏

The food was late arriving but was great nonetheless and service exceptional.

Nice location right in the city. Noisy part of town but nice and quite if sitting inside. Usual pub grub but great vibe, nice place to hang out for casual occasion.

The shoe was very busy, but Staff were very helpful and efficient. Tables were cleaned as soon as they were vacated.

It’s a great place for a Wildcats fan. We ordered 🍕 Stiletto pizza and asked for extra rocket was one of the best ones we’ve had. Happy with the service.

A birthday catch-up but unfortunately all the meals didn’t come out together and it was very noisy. I organise lunches here often because of location.

We love The Shoe - it’s our go to when we visit the city. We know that we’ll get a good feed in a central location, that doesn’t cost a weeks wages! The staff are always pleasant and attentive. Top marks from me and my family.

This is a great place for a reunion of mates who’d worked together in the same company ranging from 10 years to 40 years! Thank you very much!!!

It was easy to book a table, the owners and staff were friendly, the service was quick and the food was tasty. Price was reasonable.

Food was AMAZING!! Drinks were also great (especially the Watermelon Warhead), staff we dealt with have above expectation customer service. The ONLY downfall was trying to get into the place with a pram. Could not find the entry as we thought it warms based downstairs which that section was closed. In saying that first time there we now know where lifts are. 🙂

Probably would not attend this venue in the evening, but would say for breakfast or lunch. The venue is FAR to noisy.

I chose the wrong food, I don't like very greasy food and I got calamari forgetting it's deep fried so that one is my bad. The atmosphere was very loud and diffidcult to hear over. Overall it was a good visit, the coconut spritz (mocktail is still on my mind).
