A birthday catch-up but unfortunately all the meals didn’t come out together and it was very noisy. I organise lunches here often because of location.

We love The Shoe - it’s our go to when we visit the city. We know that we’ll get a good feed in a central location, that doesn’t cost a weeks wages! The staff are always pleasant and attentive. Top marks from me and my family.

This is a great place for a reunion of mates who’d worked together in the same company ranging from 10 years to 40 years! Thank you very much!!!

It was easy to book a table, the owners and staff were friendly, the service was quick and the food was tasty. Price was reasonable.

Food was AMAZING!! Drinks were also great (especially the Watermelon Warhead), staff we dealt with have above expectation customer service. The ONLY downfall was trying to get into the place with a pram. Could not find the entry as we thought it warms based downstairs which that section was closed. In saying that first time there we now know where lifts are. 🙂

Probably would not attend this venue in the evening, but would say for breakfast or lunch. The venue is FAR to noisy.

I chose the wrong food, I don't like very greasy food and I got calamari forgetting it's deep fried so that one is my bad. The atmosphere was very loud and diffidcult to hear over. Overall it was a good visit, the coconut spritz (mocktail is still on my mind).

Upon arrival we didn’t know where to go to mention our booking. The staff member who showed us to our table didn’t mention the procedure for ordering. We weren’t offered any water either; however, the shoe box tasting platter was good.

It's alright. Place is always busy. Sometimes you are never sure the food you ordered is going to turn up. Outside seating is always better for conversation when the weather allows.

It was nice to be able to talk with each other until the music was turned up :( why does it have to be so fricking LOUD???? It was a very hot day and the air con was a real hit and miss. I probably wont be back for awhile....

Great food and service considering it was a busy Friday night. A nice touch to have the staff/manager? come and check that our reserved table was available and clean when we arrived.

It was an OK bar and bistro but the noise caused us to go else where for coffee and a chat.

Food was very ordinary. Oil in the deep fryer made the Chicken Parmy and the chips taste like the oil hadn't been changed for weeks ??? Won't be returning sorry

Was recommended the Shoe by a friend as we were in the City to see a show. Reserved a Table, but someone else was sitting at the table, staff member asked them to move, but we sorted something else out, not the staffs fault, was the couple who couldn't read the reserved sign. The place was packed, but was served in a timely manner and food was amazing, one of the best Steak Sandwiches I have had. Keep up the good work. Will definitely dine there again.

The food and service has always been very good and at a very reasonable price. One of the few places in Perth you can go for a sit down lunch and have a good feed at a reasonable price.

Bar staff were great and very quick to serve our group. The food selection is awesome and we never go past the shoe box to share and the buffalo wings.
