The food and intimacy is fantastic. Only thing is you have to yell if you are dining in as the music is just a little bit too loud

I booked Toff in town and arrived 10 min early to be told no booths were available, apparently its a first come, first serve basis or you can request one (it says nothing about this on the booking portal). The hostess wanted us to sit on a table in the middle of a hallway that looked like an interrogation room. Tried Cookie downstairs and the seating girl was just plain rude. We ended up in the nightclub section, so dark needed a torch on the phone to see what we were eating. So noisy we could hardly talk. Food was just warm, almost cold. Staff in that section were lovely though. Won't be back.

I made a reservation and it was the first reservation I’ve done after the easing of covid-19 restrictions, the staff was attentive and the margaritas were fabulous.

given 1 of 2 plates, covered in oily fluids. gave it to the water to change but it appears it was just wiped down, that's not quite right to me as it was evident since you can see the oily smear stains at a certain angle. asked a different waitress and she happily changed the plate no questions asked. food was great, service was great otherwise.

Delicious food, staff run off their feet due to after work drinks which meant our orders were taken after quite a delay.

We were on a short girls' trip in Melbourne and found the Toff on Google before booking via Quandoo. This is an absolutely amazing bar with great service and a relaxed speakeasy vibe. We had the potato cakes, roti pizza and several spitzes. Great night out, won't forget it soon!

Loved the unusually engaging atmosphere and busy yet friendly feel of this place. Very nice food and a great experience. Don't take your grandma here, she'll find the noise level too high and the seating cramped.
