Love this place . We go back time and time again for the food and service

We keep coming back so we're obviously more than satisfied. Thank you for reducing the volume of the 'background' music from last time. We do find the vast majority of places have their music too loud and we end up yelling almost to be heard or keep asking "Pardon?" One of our ladies is deaf in one ear and so this is a real issue for her. The service is outstanding - so friendly, quick, considerate and we really like the 'new' woman who served us on Saturday - and Erica always!

Final farewell dinner on Friday 13th February for my son before he returns to Perth today. Very pleased I made a booking for 7pm because the number of others at Tradewinds that night was high. And definitely value for money. Looking forward to returning to Tradewinds when my daughter visits next month.

The service is always amazing, the food is always good, we know if we have to wait for food it will come out fresh, our cake choice after a big meal was too heavy and we should of opted for the pancakes or waffles, but, the little touch of a chocolate treat with our coffee was perfect, how can one fault a lovely evening. It was a very good experience with all food very tasty . We had specials , burgers and steak and they were all very good . Service was friendly and prices are reasonable .

Always a great place for a nice wholesome well well-priced dinner. Service was exceptional, friendly, and quick too. We had a rib eye steak and the pork ribs. Finished off with carrot cake. Wow! Delicious and filling.

Trade Winds has maintained a very high standard of service for many years

We love coming to the Tradewinds for family dinners. The atmosphere is very homely which reflects in the beautiful dishes on the menu. The owners and staff are all efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Tradewinds at Maroubra.

The restaurant atmosphere is great. The staff are wonderful. The food is average. The garlic bread was horrible. The pork in the ribs was tough. The seafood pasta had many bits of fish, three prawns which were nice but the rest of the minimal seafood was horrible. If the food were improved I would go back . A shame as it is a great restaurant.

Great service and amazing food! Definitely go there if you haven’t a try for your self.

It was Mother’s Day so was booked out! The waitress took a while to get to us but the food was delicious and hot. Had a nice time.

Absolutely recommend the place. The owner and people doing the service are very nice, friendly and caring. The food was delicious. We got chicken schnitzel, the fish special and calamari and chips. Carrot cake for desert. Everything was just perfect and we really enjoyed ourselves. we'll be back!

Absolutely amazing dining experience, such friendly staff and great with allergies and intolerances, very child friendly and colouring/toys to play with, menu was great and the food tasted exceptional, everyone was happy with their meals on our table :)

The five of us always enjoy the vibe, food, atmosphere and great service of Tradewinds and that's why we keep meeting there and nowhere else, 3-4 times a year, year after year. There is just one matter we would like to draw to your attention which concerned all five of us (including an older lady who wears hearing aids and the rest of us who have perfect hearing) and that is the volume of the "background" music. We loved most of the music so it wasn't the selection/play list but how annoying it was to have to keep shouting or asking each other to repeat what she had just said. We were all in agreeance that the irritating volume of music seemed to be everywhere we go these days! People meet to TALK and LISTEN to each other while socialising which is extremely challenging when the music is annoying loud - and NOT background at all. Thank you for the opportunity to share our thoughts.

Haven't been here for a while and will certainly be back soon. Very friendly and efficient service. We had the nachos and souvlaki plate. The lamb was cooked spot on. Both dishes were delicious.
