Great meal and excellent value for money. Fantastic atmosphere. The only downside would be space - we were too cramped on our table

A tremendous Italian restaurant. The balance of engaged and friendly service, a sense of fun and enjoyment and great food. The dishes are substantial and they managed a 8 person group with ease. A truely fun and enjoyable evening. We will be making this a regular.

Everything was fabulous, the service, the food, the wine and the wonderfull hospitality.

We love this family-feel restaurant. The portions are perfect and the service is attentive but never intrusive. Can’t wait to make our next reservation.

The waitstaff were so patient with us and our two small children at dinner. They timed the meals so that our mains were not coming out while we were trying to get the kids sorted with dinner, and everything was so so yummy.

Our dining experience at ilaria was superb- the negroni and cap retro chop were fantastic- highly recommend this place - just brilliant

The mussels on the share platter were the size of a 5c piece. I’m not even exaggerating. The capers in the Greek salad were bigger. When the waiter was told his response was “ I don’t know what you want the chef to do about it” ummmm I don’t know, find another supplier or don’t cook them for so long. Disappointing

IF one of your party is hard of hearing, avoid this restaurant. The background noise is too great for the hard of hearing to be able to participate in the conversation.

We had high expectations - however this is not a genuine Italian Restaurant and the food was not authentic - more of an 80's throwback to Aussie-fied Italian food with balsamic glaze, watercress as garnish and burnt barramundi. The pasta was from the local supermarket and the gnocchetti hard. Really awful food I am sorry to say. The waitress was lovely though. I am guessing it has new owners because there wasn't an Italian in sight.

Good priced food, calamari fritti entree was too big for entree it was perfect for the main meal, overall not bad at all

I would recommend Ilaria to family and friends. We had a delicious meal with generous servings of fresh ingredients. The brocolini was a stand out. The prawn pasta was very tasty and the prawns were cooked perfectly. The tiramisu was perfect.
