Always a great experience at Trovata. Food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. We enjoy it every time. Favourite is definitely the black linguine! Tiramisu is just like Nonna used to make! We'll be back

The meal and value were excellent. Service by a newly arrived Italian waiter in a busy lunchtime environment was most impressive. All in all a pleasant visit

Noisy until we were direct to upstairs. Meals ok but the calamaria in the seafood sphagetti was tough and the black linguine sauce was thick and stoggy. They gave us a complementary creme brulee for dessert to offset our complaint re the tough calamaria.

Excellent food, great staff. We had the chicken resotto, margarita pizza, trovata pizza and a grill prawn entree. everything is quite outstanding among the Italian restaurants we've tried. Best of the best was the tiramisu, definitely will be considered as one of our eat out list.

The pizza was excellent and we loved the rocket salad. I have heard that the food quality had declined recently but I wanted to give it another chance and we were impressed. Great service by our waiter too -thank you

service fine, food very average. If you like big portions then go for it. Decor is shabby and not been maintained since the nineteen seventies.

We sat down and replied to the question of drinks with "warm water". We were given room temperature water. And then we waited and waited. We finally just walked out. Do not go.

Not as good as in the past -errors made on all 3 dishes we ordered ,and at $32 the rack of lamb(which was tasty) was a bit pricy for a restarauant that is not really fine dining.Pity is that they were not really busy. Also the basic main menu has not changed for a few years-everything always needs refreshing .

We were waiting for our meals more than 40 minutes, though we were the only customers there. We will never come back to this restaurant.

Always great ambience, and service was quick yet busy. Of our 3 dishes, the squid ink pasta was way overcooked and resembled sloshy black mush. The vegetables on the pizza were still raw but the pizza base itself was perfect. I'd probably give it one last chance but the prices are a little high for non exceptional food

great food and great service. Excellent value for money. Wife and I are both vegetarian and had plenty of options. The menu is quite extensive actually so I am sure the range for non-vegos is good too. The quality of food and presentation are equivalent to much pricier places.

Another great night at Trovata. Great entrees - the calamari, the antipasti plate and the bruschetta...always full of flavour and the calamari always tender. Main course pastas were fantastic - black linguine is my favourite! As always, a satisfying and most enjoyable meal.

Had lunch at Trovata Restaurant on Sunday with my friends. We were on a weekend away in Sydney and had just enjoyed a harbour cruise, the hotel concierge recommended that Trovata Restaurant was within walking distance. We were greeted by a lovely gentlemen, who helped us through the wine list and recommended us with the perfect red wine to accompany our meal. I had the popular seafood spaghetti and my friends had wood fired pizzas. Ended this amazing day with a delicious housemade Tiramisu and received a complimentary Limoncello. Would definitely come back here on our next visit to Sydney.

Average food. Swordfish very overcooked. Waiter spilled red wine on one diner, no recompense was made - no free meal, no free bottle of wine.
