The food was delicious, the staff are really accommodating for kids and the service is great. We especially love the Kung Po it’s one of our favs.

The salty fish and chicken fried rice was nice with generous serve. The fried green beans with minced pork was tasty, the green beans were so succulent and tender plus the minced pork was sauteed perfectly. The restaurant service was good too. I like the wooden carved furniture and the deco of the restaurant, very Chinese. However I was disappointed that I was charged $1.50 for sliced fresh chilies in soy sauce as dipping sauce I asked to accompany our meals.

The food is always good at Yat Bun Thong. Compliments to the chef. Ordered the soft shell crab, sang chow pau, peking duck, dumplings (2 types), and hand made fried noodles. The staff is attentive.

Food was very good. Pork Wonton dumplings in chilli oil was my favourite. Service is like every busy Chinese restaurant...average but who cares. Food was balanced, without the overbearing burn of chilli.

Cant go past the duck spring rolls. Food comes out very quickly and is much better value for money than any of the other dumpling houses in the city.

Best beef fried noodle I ever had. Peking roast duck was of a very high standard. The combination steamed dumplings were also very good. Definitely will visit again. Would also suggest the owner to open branches in Melbourne, Sydney and other major cities and suburbs.

I go to yat bun tong regularly .. I like it very much yesterday I couldn’t see the same standard . It was not very good .

As usual food was amazing 👍 Place was as busy as ever so we expect service to reflect that and staff were as lovely and helpful as they always manage to be under such pressure. Friendly and helpful staff, the food was great and really reasonably priced. The four of us who attended left completely chockers for under $25 bucks a head. I had a great night and would definitely go back.

Great place for a nice inexpensive meal. A bit loud but I think it adds to the atmosphere. Service was good considering how busy it was. Staff were attentive and efficient.
