Quaint little Japanese place that I’m fairly sure has been around for decades. The food was okay but I was anticipating better. Good sashimi and tasty chicken teriyaki, however there were some ordering mistakes including an allergy misstep that was frustrating. Having sai that, they apologies, remade the dish.

Enjoyed it very much and will return for sure! Recommend it highly!

We were seated in a quiet (private) room aa requested. Greeting was friendly and welcoming and food, as always was beautifully prepared, authentic and delicious.

We really appreciate the friendly service and quiet room and will come every month next year.

Zen is a great japanese retsuarant. The only thing is that we are unhappy with the Sunday surcgarge and feel that shoul dnot be happening.

Fabulous food and great service. We were hoping there would be less noise but unfortunately the adjacent table were very loud. Very difficult for one of our guests with less than perfect hearing. Circumstance rather than planning.

Zen was warm and inviting on a very cold Melbourne night. The food was equally enticing especially the Ebi Mayo prawn entree which was delicious and the green tea ice-cream. Service was efficient and helpful as always despite the restaurant being busy.

Food was great. Unfortunately one our group asked for a meal with no onion as she has severe pain if she consumes it, but the meal did contain onion. Otherwise service was good.

Previous visits have been great - food & service. Service repeatedly inattentive and poor throughout our dinner tonight. Emptied plates left uncleared on our table throughout the meal. Apparently totally disinterested waiter, who apparently was not supervised.
