From time-tested Indian dishes to modern UK-style curries, Zyka is a favourite among the curry heads of Brisbane’s Mango Hill, ideally located on Halpine Drive. Start your spicy feast with some lamb samosa or chicken tikka before moving on to one of the many mouth watering curries on the menu. If you’re craving some heat go for the beef vindaloo or the prawn balchao (prawn cooked in a hot, smoky sauce with curry leaves and pepper) or take the spice down a notch with the creamy chicken korma or the tasty rogan josh. A popular choice for a quality curry in the North Lakes area, Zyka can get busy. Avoid disappointment by making a booking at this local hotspot beforehand!
Best indian in town. Love it every time we come. Quality of food very consistent. Can't wait to come back again. Highly recommended for Indian food lover
Menus come via small iPads which you do all your ordering on. Should be noted on there that rice is not included with cost of main meal. A lovely meal at a good price
Exceptional authentic food. I have supported this venue with my repeat custom since they opened. Thank you to Manju and his team. See you soon
Tidy restaurant. Service could be a bit better, it took a while to be acknowledged when we walked in, and even after being seated it took a while to be given their menus. Their menus are on little tablet devices which tells you about the dish and gives you a photo of it as well- that’s pretty cool and gives you a bit of time to decide. Once the food arrived, it was fantastic. We had the lamb samosas which were large and tasty with great sauces. The meat in the curries were very tender and the flavours were great (both the beef and goat). The heat of medium was great for a nice hot taste without ruining the flavours of the food. Would recommend giving them a go :)
The food and service was great. I really liked the electronic menu and ordering system this restaurant uses. The meal was served in quick time from placing the order. The apertizers are very generous and I would recommend taking this into consideration when ordering. This is a BYO restaurant and they will happily give you a "doggy bag" of any of the meal you are unable to devour. The restaurant is very clean with a lovely ambience. I have no hesitation in recommending this place if you are seeking a nice Indian meal.
Would like to see clean plates & cutlery replaced I don’t like reusing them also there is chicken wings but there no cleaning water to wash your fingers leaving people to lick them clean I find this a unhygienic as people theme use the utensils to serve themselves. No staff member came at anytime to see if everyone was enjoying their evening.I find this not very good interaction with the customers. Overall the food was good so I will return again.
Really nice meal but portions of rice and nan bread etc should be explained as there's too much for one person.,I could have shared the rice and nans with my hubby if I'd known the sizes. Other than that lovely meal.
