Staff friendly under trying conditions. Food good and tasty. I would return.

Always a great experience, staff are friendly and efficient, food always good. Bit noisy with a full restaurant - echoing off the hard surfaces, but lots of tables outside too. Sunday afternoon live music is a great new initiative.

Overall a nice menu with good variety. Unfortunately the risotto was not so good, as it was gluggy, and with very large chunks of chorizo (slices would have been much better)

Table service was terrible.Waited half angour for our order to be taken.The restaurant was half empty.Food was ok.

We were seated immediately inside the entrance of the restaurant, directly in front of the door, and because of the freezing weather on the weekend, we asked if we could move to one of the other vacant tables, which our waitress was happy to do, but the blonde waitress refused. Four of those five tables which were sheltered from the continuously opening front door and freezing cold, remained vacant throughout our visit. Patrons across from our table, strangers to us, also commented that we really should have been given the option to move out of the doorway, given that there were a number of vacant tables.

The food was terrible, my toast was hard as a brick, and the coffee tasted burnt and bitter.

We don't understand why Currency is not booked out - their Thursday-Saturday 'cheap menu' cannot be beaten. The chips are the best anywhere (totally crispy and soft and fluffy inside - yum!). Serving sizes are generous, side salad is delicious and the men love the parmas! The staff are super friendly and personable. Currency is our 'go - to local. Give it a try!
