Great food, great service and atmosphere! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Achilles Tavern with our friends!

Had the best time catching up with a long time friend. Achilles looked after us personally for the whole evening and we had a great time talking to him about his Greek heritage as well.

As usual fresh , delicious, tasty food and a lovely friendly host and atmosphere .

Its was too noisy. We weren't forewarned about the live music. It was so loud we couldn't talk. Its not suitable to have loud music in a resteraunt where people go to eat and catchup and it started at 7pm. We didnt know any of this untill we arrived at 6.30pm. My husband said his ears were ringing the next day.

We've been there once ages ago and it was very good. Last night was even better - the food was amazing!

Come here regularly. The service and food are exceptional. When we came this time there was also a big group of about 30 people there, but this did not affect the service we got, even though we were only two. ❤️

Loved being here today - Took us back to a Greek tavern in Greece! Food is all home made, every dish surprise the last. Prawn Saganaki and our Beef Rib giouvetsi were off the charts. This is our new go to! Forget Oakleigh if you want quality Greek Food! Drinks list is also extensive - great Greek wines as well!
