We dined on the specials of the day, Osso Bucco and spinich ravioli, after starting with the bruschetta. All of the food was delicious and the wait staff were extremely accommodating, adding an extra bruschetta for our local friend who had joined us, making a party of three. Very authentic italian tastes. Dessert menu looks great, but we'll have to return to test those out, as we had no room left.

The staff were very welcoming and the pasta was delicious. I had the ravioli…highly recommend this. A very authentic italian restaurant. Molto bene

The food was wonderful. The service was indifferent. The noise level was painful. I’m sure the pianist was good, but her playing to an inattentive audience made the conversation level over the top. Nearly 90 db

The scampi linguini was outstanding and loved the pianist playing in the background, created a beautiful atmosphere

A diamond in the rough in the alley next to the JW Marriott in downtown Sydney. 40 years by the family in this location. Superb authentic Italian food with great service. At the end of the evening, the cost was much less than other good proximate restaurants. We’re glad we found this restaurant!!

Lovely restaurant but seating arrangements a bit weird this time

We've been coming to Alfredo's for years, great food and service. However the recently updated menu and with it the increase in prices was a bit of a shock. Plus $40 for a pasta dish is a bit much so will likely be looking elsewhere for our pre-theatre dinner in 2025.

It was a Monday lunchtime. So not busy. But great food and service.

Everything was perfect. Service was excellent and the food typically Italian.

This restaurant is excellent, truly authentic Italian food which can usually only be found in Italy. The manager was particularly attentive and we could not have asked for anything better. The added bonus was that the legendary Alfredo came to say hello and that was a highlight of our trip to Sydney. If you are in Sydney try to get a table at this iconic restaurant, you will not be disappointed

The food, historical building and artist caricatures were amazing. A small candle would have created the perfect inviting atmosphere. However did not like the extra credit card fee.
