Was ok but we had to ask someone at the bar to take our foodorder. Garlic bread was brought out after the mains. No apology. Should have been in reverse.

I completely understand that it's Christmas time and there are many people. Unfortunately, the area right next to the bar when you walk in has the worst acoustics in the whole place. I couldn't hear the people at my own table or the servers, so keep that in mind.

Great venue and meals. Good selection of beers and full selection of mixer drinks. Pokie room is nicely layout. The sorts bar is well IT appointed though seating is quite ordinary, uncomfortable seats, low standard tables and chairs for eating.

Even though Seniors meals were a reasonable price I found my chicken satay meal dry and the salad was mediocre

Garlic & cheese bread was good as always. Tried the Mongolian Beef entree. Was well presented and tasted okay but was more vegetables than beef. Service was good. Very busy so extra noisy but it is party season.

It was busy and being this time of year I understand, but it was around 20 mins from when we were seated before our order was taken.

Atmosphere was good as there were only several tables in for lunch. Meals could have been hotter, roast of the day was quite fatty. Staff very friendly and polite👍

I booked for 4 adults. 1 male had Garlic Prawns. Said it was ok. 1 female had the Beef salad. Liked It. The other 2 had lamb cutlets. They were tough,chewy,overcooked. I could have used them as boat paddles. Vegi,s well over cooked. We are regulars there but we may have to look elsewhere.

Arrived on time restaraunt was busy car park was full had to park elsewhere , food was good only issue 2 of the quests had vegan knocchi and it came with cheese on top so they didn't eat it all as they tried to eat around it

Three out of four meals were good but one meal was bad. Nasi goreng was very fatty and very little meat. Zero out of ten. ☹️

We always enjoy dining at Amstel. I've booked dinner there within the last 3-4 weeks now. We are always happy to see some of the servers that we're familiar with all the time we're there, like Hannah.

The seafood platter for one was absolutely delightful, especially when we shared it! If you’re looking for a more peaceful vibe, I highly suggest making a reservation for the 5:30 pm sitting. Enjoy!
